Go the old Lancer! I have one of these in my garage just waiting to be drift modified. Would be great if they also had the Mitsubishi Sigma in the same era - would bring back fond memories.
Newbie GT drifter, amateur photographer IRL. (SLR or go home!)
I deliberately set the F stop short and upped the exposure a lil' bit, to try and reduce the jagged edges of the smoke against the car model.
I also set the F stop short and set the shutter speed slower to slightly blur everything outside of the focal point. Wanted to create a sense of motion.
Same run; last corner of Tsukuba. I actually wanted to drop the camera closer to the pavement, but again, jagged edges along the car model from the smoke. Still, I kinda like this.
(Would've liked it better if I was able to hold the drift longer, and get a bigger plume of smoke.)

If anybody asks, the colour of my Subaru is the TVR purple/green and the color of my Mini is "Black Eye Purple Metallic" coolest name for a colour in my opinion. xD
