Hy is loading times sooooo slow. I've installed the game on hd, cleared cache and literally deleted all other game memory to give gt5 more room. What am I doing wrong?

Are you on a wired or wireless connection? If wireless, that is your problem.

Online or offline? Don't think internet affects offline play.

Is there anything else in your house using the Internet at the same time? Is your Internet generally slow?

Wireless connection has 92% signal strength and online of course. And all that is connected to the Internet also is my computer which isn't being used

Internet is used every time you go back to GTHome screen.
The activity log is updated after every race ofline.
The activity log is updated every time you change car in the garage.

As long as you are signed in to PSN these changes happen and require a signal back from GT5 servers..

Normal loading time from XMB to GT5 is <2 mins
Any longer and you are experiencing connection to GT5 server slow down normaly caused by Wifi, Router or ISP traffic shaping.



Race selection screen to starting race should not be longer than 90 seconds.
Normaly <60 secs.
Longer and your having HDD or BD read slow down. Delete install data and re-install GT5 and patches and DLC... or carefully clean GT5 BD...

How do I delete my gt5 files? I don't really want to lose my cars tough

In the game data folder. This deletes replays and photos. It will take about 2 hours to download the patches again depending on your internet speed
