Simple question. If I download songs from iTunes, will I be able to get them to play in GT5? Without doing any conversion?
I want to use up these cards I got for Christmas.

Thanks. Peace. 👍

You will have to convert them, chances are the songs you download will not be MP3, more like AAC (Could be ACC, might be wrong). You'll have to convert them to MP3 before using them on your PS3.

Yes. If your Dashboard will play it then GT5 should play it.

Why iTunes though? The DRM's horrible :D

Don't mean to nitpick but I think when they made all the songs iTunes plus songs they got rid of the DRM didnt they?

Yes and no. The majority of music files are DRM free depending on publisher and source territory. TV/Video files often have FairPlay encryption - this technology is still actively supported in Apple technologies.

As with any DRM there's a simple (if time consuming) way around it, but Apple need to realise that they're not going to own the media market in the way they hope (see this month's proposed restrictions on news media purchases via Apple devices) and get back to supporting users in whatever they want to do.
