South Park - Season 12

Just a reminder to all those that like south park that the first episode of season 12 aired on the 12th and the second came on yesterday. Anyone seen either?
 
No, but I heard the 2nd one was amazing.
 
Seen both. Tonsil trouble was okay, but the Britney episode was brilliant. Even though I was laughing my ass off the whole time, I honestly felt bad for the real-life Britney.
 
I'm so excited that I finally have something to look forward to on tv again.

I laughed so hard when all of the paparazzi started singing that song.
 
The WGA episode was off the ******* chain! I'm not sure it tops the muhammed episode for the number 1 southpark episode of all time, but if it doesn't, it's number 2 by a good margin over WoW.

Absolute genius. On the surface the episode was hilarious, but the subtext was flawless.

Also, the cat pee episode was quite excellent as well.

I toldly agree. What always surprises me though about South Park is how many people don’t pick up on the subtler (notice I said “subtler” rather than “subtle”) messages. For example, while my friends picked up on the fact that it was a parody of the WGA strike, I’m not sure any of them truly understood the Internet money joke (which then means that they didn’t understand Kyle’s speech at the end).

Wow, that's impressive. If they didn't get that then they probably didn't get the Terrance and Phillip = Southpark within the WGA strike reference.

I love the opening sequence where Canada goes on strike too.

Haha, I was dying. The underlying subtext of it was fantastic, but just the guy's manner of speaking cracked me up.

"The internet has a lot of money, give us some of that money!"


And how great was that ending?
 
Season 12 is great so far, but so far it's not as good as Season 11. Season 11 was just awesome.

I dunno, so far I am liking season 12 better I think, except the Britney episode, some parts are funny but as a whole I didn't like it so much.
 
I saw the Britney episode today. I got how the camera men were acting like those zombies in 'I am legend' but where was the corn storyline bit from? Im assuming it was based on a movie or something similar because its too random for someone just to think up...

Oh yea I though that heavy metal episode was good too, best bit was where Kenny and Kyle's dad were fighting in the sand pit:lol: Also Cartman was a good guy for once, cant remember the last time that happened!
 
I just finished watching the newest episode Over Logging. Another great episode, featuring typical Randy Marsh behaviour.

I'm watching it right now. The scene when they're in the transient camp is straight out of "The Grapes of Wrath". Actually the whole episode has been so far, but I'm only ten minutes in.

Watching the news guys get so pumped up and start dancing over an incoming fax was pretty hilarious too.

Looks to be a great episode though, Randy Marsh is the new Homer Simpson.

edit: OMG Randy's speech at the end was awesome, he's' so dramatic. "if we don't treat the internet with the RESPECT!!!!!!!! it deserves"
 
Randy is becoming my favorite character, his behavior is hilarious.

I seriously cannot believe what they can get away with on TV (and sometimes I can't believe what they can't get away with). Great episode though. Some of my favorite lines:

"I can't just go back to Playboy!"
"Randy! It's time for Nite Nite."
"Oh man! There was a ghost in here just now. Did you see it?"
"We're headed out Californeeway"

I was rolling on the floor when that guy jumped on the hood of randy's car pointing at his laptop.
 
Man, that episode was great. Randy is always hilarious and there were some awesome lines in that ep. I loved it when he was talking to the guard about getting some “private internet” and he said “3 minutes will be plenty.” :lol:
 
Super Fun Time was okay. It was pretty mediocre except the Pioneer Village employees made it a lot more entertaining.

Indeed, I like it when Stan finally started talking to them, their 1864 way.
 
Seems im the opposite to most of guys. I loved super fun time but think over logging was oookay...
So far the two best episodes have been eek a penis and super fun time. Oh yea I dont like Butters new attitude.

Uh.... what? Those would be the worst two episodes. The writer's strike episode is one of the best southpark episodes of ANY season.

+1, it's was brilliant how they drew a parallel with Canada going on strike. :lol:
 
So, I guess they had a new episode yesterday? After watching it... I think it's time to end the show.
