Standard cars to receive Premium treatment.

Which region would you like to see Standard cars getting the Premium treatment?

Think the ae86 should deserve the premium treatment, with the SS version going thru the upgraded tacho and engine refinements.
 
If this does come out soon then why weren't they included in the game to start. The way he sounds is that it took months to make one car a premium. So if there is a premium update soon then more they already had them but I would say the veyron
 
Waste of time and resources when the game sorely needs more events, Online system, leaderboards, credit/Xp system needs major changes, etc................ Amazing sony screwed up its flagship game, sad thing is the driving is outstanding, but the game is all over the place.

Also, why can't we qualify for races? Why can i win almost all races by using an over powered car?No class system? Games is way behind in a lot of ways.

I want some 2011 Mustangs. At least a GT but also maybe the BOSS 302 and the new Shelby GT-350.

We have the Camaro and the Challenger. Why not the new Mustangs?

Because the 2011 Mustang can give the new BMW's more then they can handle.:)

hope they uppdate the AE86s to a better 3D model and give us an interior 👍

I hope that the '69 L46 Corvette will get the premium treatment. Seems like an easy one to do since the '69 covertable is already a premium. 👍
 
I voted Europe. But if they don't give us more races, then it kind of defeats the purpose. I think the update should FIRST be more races or legnthened events. Then give us some updated premiums that we could use for those events.

yes definitly more championships

we have a lot of beautifull premium Super GT (about 20) and only 3 races to do in career mode

a super GT championship with full lengh/damage/qualy/ pit stops etc would be nice

or at least give us the opition to make our own championships and chose the cars the AI use in them/lengh of races/and all the other opitions we have online
 
To me it seems quite obvious that it will only be some, not all, and If anything else with this game and the previous GTs is any indication, I suspect it will be far less that we could even imagine.

Plus That still doesnt address the lack of ability to change the wheels or the funky different views from the standards to the premiums, cockpit view aside of course.

Id seriously rather have the ability to change the rims, and the like, on the standard cars then have the put forst all that effort to make just a few into premiums.

Lets fix the "broken" parts of the game before we start adding stuff.

I dont think the car modelers will be doing anything other than modeling cars....... So they can add stuff or not add stuff, it doesn't change what needs fixing.....
 
Actually, i dont mind making them premium because i like the used car lot, you never know what you get. But if they make premium cars show up in the used car lot, then its anothewr thing.
 
the gt cars must be made premium, its ridiculous that none of them are, also surely they could have made the delta rally a premium considering the road version is? im getting seriouly tired of winning nothing but standard models too,
 
If they made a 98 supra preminum i could make my bros car.....and the ae86 corola and a subaru impreza 22b,HKS genika silvia would be cool

1) I don't understand the sense behind this poll. Why should the (alleged) standard cars that (eventually, one day who knows?) be upgraded from standard to premium be of a single specific region?

2) I believe it (the upgrade) when I see it. It's PD we are talking about.

1) Because there is 800+ Standard cars, not about to put a poll option for each one...we know PD visits these boards, so this could give them an idea of which region the PEOPLE would like to see Standard cars become Premium, doesnt mean only one region will get it, it just shows which one is more demanded.

2)I feel the same, but Kaz already said the right things to have us believe that an upgrade of this sort is possible. "GT5 is our baby...have to nurture it so it grows etc."👍


Personally something is telling me that the cars introduced in GTPSP might be the ones getting this treatment...but that's just me.

Some cars needed half a year to be finished. nd that´s the reason why we have only 200 of them. But also a fact most players have not kept in mind and now they are crying.

Correction: It would take one single person 6 months to do it, their car modeling team is a 50+(thx Shirakawa Akira) strong. So probably a few weeks, not including documenting(pics, color samples etc) the model before building it.

By that time, GT5 Premium cars will be Standard in GT6, and everyone will be complaining about not having enough Premium cars. :)
 
With enough nurturing and evolving, we'll all end up with GT5.9 - what's bad about that? I don't understand the comments about hating DLC.
 
Well I see a lot of people think that the premium cars are important and some think they need this to compete with Forza. I do not agree.

Having played Forza 2 and 3 I can tell you that graphics are not the issue that would make Forza more appealing to players like myself. Leaderboards, Credits for Online Racing are biggies. It does not matter how many cars you have nor how beautiful they may be the ultimate goal is to be able to race those cars and have fun doing it while earning money to buy more cars. Without this you have a problem.
 
I'd like to see the European classics and rally cars receive the premium treatment.

To drive an Alpine A110 or a Renault 5 Turbo in all its glory.
 
Some standards, like the Veyron, actually look pretty good in comparison to others. I'd like them to do the ones that really need it: the ones that look like a kid coloured outside the lines (some of the Honda's and Toyota's are like that).

That said, even some of the premiums are questionable (ever look inside the Citroen C4 at the non-round steering wheel?).
 
I get the feeling that this was the plan from the beginning. Why else would they have an icon in the used car dealership to denote Standard cars?

I Totally agree

It does sound terrible. It sounds like a V8 when it should sound like a straight 6. Very Dissapointed!!!:grumpy:
