Does anyone else wish Emperor Palpatine had his Royal Guards instead of Shock Troopers? Yeah, they'll stick out like sore, red cape-covered thumbs, but they look badass. Even though their primary weapon is the Force Pike, they apparently were trained to carry a heavy blaster. On wookieepedia, it seems like they used DL-44s, but on the 501st Legion, they say to use DH-17s. I trust 501st Legion more because their ultimate goal is to be as true to the original storyline as possible.

Downloaded the Battle of Jakku DLC and had a go at it. Pretty intense, but I like it a lot.

Still only rank 6 so far, but I'm enjoying the game. Pretty much Battlefield in outer space. The graphics are second to none, absolutely stunning. And the thermal imploder and proximity grenades are just wicked. Totally loving the sound effects that go with the thermal imploder. Feels so satisfying when you get multiple kills with it.

I can never play this game for too long now, it's good for a few quick, cheap thrills, but after that gets very boring. Especially when every lobby has a nerd/s who's devoted their life to it. I am very good at Fight Squadron mode though, I normally get ~10 kills and ~25 AI kills. As an Imperial earlier, which we all know is inferior in aerial combat, I had a match with 7 kills and 43 AI kills.

Not to mention that one Imperial spawn point on Graveyard of Giants AKA Battle of Jakku in Fighter Squadron.

Turning Point is my absolute favorite, even though there's only one map for it. It just never gets old for me.

Until you get hit by Homing Shot. Or Pulse Cannon across the map. Or Jumpcaster'd.

Homing Shot is overused there indeed, although after a while you learn how to runvand where to hide. I rarely get killed by it. I find the airspeeders more overpowered than the homing shot.

So, I attempted Heroes vs Villains. Key word: "attempted." We lost two rounds so quickly, it begs the question: How does my team not drown in the shower? My god they were idiots.

That game mode annoys me because nobody ever works as a team, the three people playing as heroes never stick together.

Apparently they have some sort of Hoth themed surprise for everyone for tomorrow. Fighting in a blizzard maybe?

If they don't come up with some actual new content the outrage on their FB page will go through the roof

Rightfully so. Content is very limited right now. Jakku is nice, but it's only available for two game modes.

Really curious about how that Death Star DLC will be... As they've always said that there wouldn't be any space battles.

If it's just going to be some interior maps, that would be the lamest paid DLC ever... :p

It will be, no question. Really disappointing list.

I'm not spending another cent on this game until they give us a server browser. Trying to find a game with the matchmaker on PC is like a mini-game in itself, and I usually lose.

I really don't know how else to say it, but... I've fallen in love with this game. I really have. After playing Blast for the last two and half hours, I've had more fun than I ever have before on Battlefront. I noticed a lot of people using the E-11, so I bought it to just to see the hype. My god, it's now my favorite gun in this game. It feels so accurate and rewarding! I can actually hit targets at longer distances! It was such an improvement over everything else that I had the most kills in two or three matches! All of my deaths felt proper. There were a few Homing Shots whizzing by at my teammates, but I never got hit by one. The number of Homing Shots in general has decreased a massive amount. The only "Enemy Locking" alerts were from droids (Personally, I think those should be removed from Blast). If I lost a head-on firefight, it was my fault for not keeping my crosshair on the enemy. Grenades still had their usefulness, and I heard two or three Thermal Imploders all go off at the same time, so maybe they could be tweaked, but overall they are less spammy. Pistols with Explosive Shot still appeared here or there, but not as much as they used to. In conclusion, Blast was my favorite gamemode for a little while, and DICE has allowed me to love it even more. I just wish my teammates would flank more on Rebel Depot. Flanking on those tunnels can massively change the outcome of the match.

I'm getting back into this game now, they have nerfed all of the OP weapons including that awful bowcaster and now we can actually select what region we want to connect to so I can actually find matches now. I've been playing on US servers and the latency is really not an issue. I can see myself racking up another 100 hours at least :)

Some nerfs were highly needed indeed. But I dislike what they've done to the Star Card reload times. They take so long now that it's irritating. Also no trace of balancing the Rebel vs Imperial star fighters.
But still, most fun game I played in a long time.

Grenade spam needed a fix, and I think the cooldown times are warranted. I've never played a DICE game before (Unless you count 45 minutes of screwing around in a private session of the BF4 beta), but people have been saying that DICE's style of nerfing is making something completely useless, then slowly bring it's effectiveness back over time until it works properly.

Just wait until the DLC weapons arrive, they will be crazy OP so people want to pay for them and then a month later they will get nerfed. That's what happened with BF4 anyway.

I wonder what kind of weapons we'll get, and I hope all of the DLC is either free or at a low price. I don't want the community to be divided.
