Spoted the BMW Z3 Coupe on the test vid thats up in news......obviously in the used car dealership and will be beyond the initial $20,000 that you have to start with but thats the car I'll aim for to get through the initiaql part of the game and stick some money into tuning it....as far the "first car" MX5 should be in budget or anything thats light and RWD

I noticed the Z3 M too but i didn't see it on Dealership..????

From start.. Z4 3.0i, 135i, 135 Tii, Z4 M, M3 E92, E60 M5.. Where is the E46 M3 or the Z3?

(ill upload the screen shot when i get home)

E46 M3 was in the license test video on board the Z4:M. The Z3, like the 2004 M3, will probably be standard in the used car lot.

yeah but why not in Dealership? u can't buy them as new?
hope is still alive for E30! Maybe...

The second-greatest M3 of all time - and given the E30 isn't in the game, the best M3 in GT's world - is left as a standard? The possibility of that is epic fail.

On seconds thoughts (from months back), I'll be getting a kart to start off with, as it's 5,000 Cr, and it looks mighty fun!

EDIT: That or what Andy89 says below...

I could talk on for days wich car i would use as a first car, but one thing i know it ain't gonna be is a standard car!

I think I'll do the C, B, A licenses, because in GT4 if you complete them, you'll get some price car, and if they are good, I'll use them for the early races, and save the money to do some modifications or buy a faster car :D

Hopefully, the Audi Quattro. I may race carts until that one shows up used. No standard Golf or Jetta TDI unfortunately. Big mistake having a Prius and Insight but no Clean Diesels, imo. Maybe a German version of Kazunori Yamauchi needs to be spawned to make me happy...

Im pretty sure my first car is gonna be the premium Toyota Supra mk3. Would've liked to see so much more 80s and 90s european cars..

Higher mileage Skyline R32 or R33. Or if I can afford it, a new Focus (EU spec hopefully).

maybe one of the "trillions" of skylines would make a good first car, well there are a few to pick from lol

I would have liked to buy a Fox body 'stang or Camaro/Firebird from the 80's but unfortunately it won't happen.

If I can buy a '97 Camaro Z28 with 20000cr it's my first choice. If it's more than 20000cr I'll buy any miata.

I would prefer any Japanese car with AWD. If that's not possible, something cheap but still has a decent amount of power.

Getting a used car was my only option when I first started playing Gran Turismo 1. They were cheap and they required a lot of nerve to at least get through the Sunday Cup series. The hardest thing to do when you're getting your first car in Career mode would be aiming for all Gold in a license test. That is why I chose "Other".

what car will you start off with in career mode? i know im going to try and get a cheap car and upgrade it!

Depends what's available on day one..20k to start unless I import prologue money over..

The Silvia I started GT4 with was a nice car.

If the career layout is like that of GT4 a used MX5 would seem to be a good choice as it can run in 3 of the beginner events. Sunday Cup. RWD and Roadster events. That should be a good start.
