To have best fun Start from Scratch, dont load GT5 prologue data. I think thats the best part of GT series, the first steps with tight budget and a crappy car.

+1

Tempting as it may be to be able to drive in a ferrari the second you load the disc... Those first steps are something you will only experience once.

Seat Ibiza cupra was in gt4 and Kas has said all cars from gt4 will be in gt5

Yes, so I hope Ibiza Cupra '04 is in. However... I wouldn't like GT5 just to be the SAME 2000-2004 year cars that were in GT4, plus the 250 new cars. I would like to see many cars that have been released in this last 5 years since Gran Turismo 4 was. And one of them is Seat Leon Cupra FR. What I mean is that I would prefer the NEW Ibiza Cupra than the 2004 one.

I'm also hoping to see Mercedes C63 AMG, Audi RS4 (the last one), and several recent cars that haven't been seen in the game yet.

If I'm not mistaken, they started you of with 100,000cr in GT4. If thats the case in GT5, I'm rolling with the Dodge Challenger SRT8!Also,I keep hearing people talking about loading data from GT5P, has PD confirmed we will have that option?

NA MX5, as i have done (when possible) in all the previous games. I usually follow that with a R32 GT-R.

I'll start with a low powered FF kei car.
I hope there will be at least a premium one available.

The Cervo is waiting for you at the nearest Suzuki dealer, although I feel sad for you, rocketing down long straights redlining at 63mph, that'll be exciting.

I would take a Swift Sport without any doubt, I really like that little Suzuki.

Also, after seeing that Standard 240ZG I honestly will pick the best deal in the used car lot, regardless if the car in question is premium or standard.

well my first car is usually a used honda, so i hope they have included that feature. a civic eg (92-95) or a ae86 corolla is cool, and last choice would be a silvia. i like a challenge .

If I could pick any car I would have started with a third generation "mullet-mobile" Camaro or Firebird. Cheap and slow, but easily tuned for better performance. Or another 70`s or 80`s American "performance" car (What performance?). But I`m probably going to start with a first generation Miata since Gran Turismo has never included any of the cheaper american cars.

i always start with an old nissan skyline.
they are fast and cheap. i thought i started with a '89 skyline in gt4.

arthurenzo, welcome to GTP. 👍

If you can fix your shift key, you'll fit in well here. :) 👍

Mine will be a Fiat 500, it's official, perhaps in Red or Yellow.. racy colours. Assuming that they will include Fiats' stickers/add-ons (perhaps as extras(then I would be SERIOUSLY impressed)) so I could make my car personal to me, or use Racing Mod to make it an Abarth (Esseesse/SS).. Or is that too ambitious? I hope nawt.. D:

Far better than handing out an infraction for his first post. But hey, I'm just a member of staff, so what the heck do I know...

I was joking.. Now you made me feel bad.. :guilty:

And being a member of staff, you know everything... Right? :P

since most of the cars in the used lot will be Japanese, looks like that will be the option, but it would be nice to see more of a variety there. I wonder how much money we will actually start with..now thats something to think about.....

gt4lova,
I've editted your post to remove the derogative term you used for Japanese.
Please don't use again.

Also, it looks like you need to fix your Shift Key too.

sorry, didnt mean any harm with that, just shortened the word Japanese. wont happen again.. as for the shift key, im not sure what you mean

I guess I'll get a MX-5. But then again, I probably end up gettting something else.

It's interesting , most of you choose the same car whenever at a new GT game comes out. I myself will be driving a 5 turbo or an s1 elsise.
