Sorry, I corrected it. :)

My fault, I've had three cars since that one, and I forgot which model is was. It was the 2.2 VTEC 4WS. I thought it was the Type R because of the red badges it had. Either that, or the car I had before my current one, a Subaru Legacy GT-B.

Nice choice of cars,Also I was thinking of the last generation Prelude so my mistake too.

Nice HPT I've only seen one ever!! I've seen more Lamborghini Diablo's (5) than 22b Impreza's. My least favorite Lamborghini by far (Chrysler ruined it for me) though it's still beautiful.

Indeed so, but that Diablo was still pretty mental. At least, it was the last of the hard to drive Lambos.

Agreed, I am happy they returned to sharper lines.

Hi, This is my first post :P

I'll probably be going for a Supra Twin Turbo, Nissan 180sx or my Real car, a Mazda 6 MPS (MazdaSpeed6 to the Americans).... If credit allows it!

Is there any word about the credit transfer from Prologue savegame like you could with GT4? If the credits can be transferred, I'll propably start with an early evo or an Impreza.

even without the credit transfer, a EVO I was buyable with starting credits on GT4, so it is likely to be on this 👍

I will start with an 01' Tiburon if they have it. If not probably the 1st gen Supra (late 80's) and dump a turbo and some other small mods

wow, never heard of a Prelude Type R.. or a 3200GT..

I think they might be English names for the cars. The Prelude Type R is the colloqiual name for the Prelude 2.2 VTEC, the 3200GT is the subsequent model to the GTO.

I'm pretty sure he just means the Prelude Type-S, probably said Type-R as Honda use that more now....

Someone calling any Prelude a Type-R is just giving it a wrong name. There's also never been a 3200GT from Mitsubishi (since the engine was always a 3.0L it'd be a really odd name change).

I'm genuinely curious as to what new-to-GT cars will be eligible as first cars, since as long as it's competitive, I'd probably lean towards a new car instead of something I've started with in past games.

Integra type R, redlining @ 8-9000rpm! (although i dont think thats realistic for a starter car) japanese cars are bullet proof! You can tune them up like a bitch and they still run forever. Good value for money.

Wow, wish I hand't said anything now.......

Had a chat to my dad, and he said that the car he used to have was a Mitsu 3000GT, not 3200GT. Sorry about the confusion but no sleep for 4 days and running out of coffee means my brain isn't quite working as well as it should... :banghead: :ouch:

Japanese for sure. An Evo or an Impreza. It's been the same for me for every GT game. Boring I know, but they are easy to drive, easy to tune, easy to upgrade. They are tools to get the job done.
Then when I've won a few races I can think about what cars I would like to own.

DC2 Integra Type-R

Shame I can't swap a K20 into it.. I once had a K20 DC2, very fun to drive :)
