Excellent bonus race #10. Longest race of the entire SCRL season, both distance-wise and time-wise, so far. Many different cars on the track, and a very tight race throughout the middle 10 laps or so. Race got dark around lap #17, adding in that extra bit of difficulty, and pitting wasn't only necessary for tires, but fuel intake also had to be factored in. Kudos to all 6 racers who completed this daunting task of the Keyring 150(141 miles actually). 👍 Excellent way to end an incredible 1st half of SCRL season 1!

Good news!!!
The basketball game times have been changed for Saturday. They are at 1pm and 3pm now instead of 1pm and 7pm. This means I will be able to race at Suzuka on Saturday.

Yeah wired connection. Verizon's best Internet offered in our area($40 a month). It's a bunk connection if you ask me(gotta be the wiring, though i don't claim to be an expert in that arena). It'll work fine for weeks, months at a time.,, and then we'll get a night like last night where it's lucky to stay connected for more than 5 minutes at a time. I've had the verizon Internet tech guy out to look at it 2 or 3 times and they are at a loss as to what is causing the temporary disconnects.

Rather upsetting if you ask me. Basically I was lucky to have a smooth 1st half the season with no DC's. Not been so lucky lately. Just upset that me and carayoto were about to have an epic last 5 laps battling it out for the top spot, instead 45 minutes of racing hard, all for not.

Getting DC'd at Cote didn't bother me quite as much since I was having a poor race, and was frustrated with my performance. Getting tossed out of a race near the end where I had a chance at the checkered flag, however does grind my gears. Just hoping someone got the final standings for Laguna.

I'll work on updating the standings tonight through the 1st 14 races! Only 6(7 counting tonights race) races left to go in this SCRL season #1.

Btw, I forgot to send an invite to BDA_VIPER before the start, like I always do & he showed up right after the start.., so being the good sport I am, I am giving my DC'd points from this race to him & I will take the last spot(9th if I remember correctly) to be fair, if there is no disagreements.

I am gonna take a race victory by the end hopefully. I am gonna focus on a race that is far away to have time to get to a point where I can drive it just right.

I'm gonna focus on the Monza race.

My fastest lap currently is 1:44.332. I am using Racing: Medium tires on front and back.

Good plan... I bet the Monza race will be epic. Great track, as was the Suzuka race yesterday. Forgot just how much I love that track. Perfect amount of power for that track, too.

Are you thinking LFA for Monza, because I kind of had been for months now. LFA, 599 or Scuderia... Possibly a GT-R(Black Mask) or R8!?... But yeah, many good high performance vehicles in that range. Shaping up to be a top race.

Speaking of race, any new ideas for race 18?... Route X while it's available to the masses?.. Possibly Madrid? No that track is all that is evil.. Daytona Road, Tokyo R246 or Nurburgring GP/F?.. Just wanna hear what's most popular/unpopular among everyone, and trying to start the discussion early to solidify a Race #18, before next week.???..???

You know, I kind of like that idea... Nurb@ night, with a few laps towards the end featuring sunrise!... Awesome!

Unless that idea gets out-voted by another track, I see that as our race 18. It's the Saturday night race before the last weekend, so it's in a special spot. Track is different than the 24hr variety and being at night, will make it that much more different.

I was planning on doing the Nurburgring 24h race like the Keyring 4.20 race, daylight fading to darkness last pit stop or so. So this race #18 will be the opposite, with nighttime giving way to sun rise!

Only question now is what pp? Personally I think 555pp for race #20 is a bit high at Nurb. So I suppose we do this night race lower, maybe 460ish pp? Maybe more, maybe less?... Please add input for #18 at nordschliefe.

Edit: 460, 470, 480, 490, 495, 505, 510, or 530pp... Those are the options for Nurb Nord.

I did some math and averaged up the pp from the first 10 races at 520pp and the second 9 races(not counting 610 at Spa) at 546pp. Which equals a grand total (19 races) averaged out to 532.3pp.

Personally I think the 2nd half might be a bit over-powered, and wouldn't mind seeing Nurb Nord race #18 at 470-495pp, to bring a 3rd under-500pp race to the real-world tracks half of the season, equalling it with the 1st half, so to speak.

Also, I am gonna probably miss Friday's race. I am going to watch a play that a friend is cast in. I told her I would go, and I didn't go last week, so I have to go this week. I don't care for plays, but she makes them worth going to watch.

I don't care for Fuji much anyways, never really liked that track.

I am very happy that there is all this enthusiasm for the race in Monza

it is also my favorite track and I really want to participate and make a good impression ... I think i will choose a gallardo or zzii, can you confirm that the pp are 590?

and aids, which are allowed? there will be tire consumption obviously ...

believe that with all this excitation will be not difficult to stay awake until four in the morning ..


PS. i am reading the rules in the summary , it seems the penalties will be off ... mmmh , i think it's not a good option for Monza , maybe you should think about setting low penalties ...

pps . regarding race 18, I do not think I will participate, anyway, among the tracks earth talked about,
my preference goes to daytona ..

But it would be nice to organize a race in Monza, 650 pp, for Super Street car, like the Enzo Murcielago Cerbera etc . , to finish off the league with a spectacular race show with no points up
