Has anyone driven a Tuned Supra in Rally?

Because its bloody dangerous.

If you like Spinning out, then take Tahiti Maze with a Tuned Supra.

:D:D100th Post!:D:D

try a 1000 hp hybrid mustang
... HUGE FUN did it around the swiss alps though not the 'maze

hmm... gonna have to do it now :)

wont scratch the paintwork will it? ;)

hey!!! i like the XR8 falcon - it handles real nice in my opinion. and sliding around tahiti dirt and smokey mountain in it is just downright fun.

I tried to use my supra with a stage 4 turbo, it did not move so I bought a stage 2 and it still didn't move, rear wheel drive and really do not mix well.

The only problem I have with driving with the supra in rally is that it gets way to much air. Its not that hard to control on dirt buy when your on pavement and you hit a hill/ramp, you will go flying.

I agree with Monkeytech. The XR8 is a good handling car on rally.

As for you, Professional, how the bloody hell did you keep it still? The back wheels may spin alot, but how do you keep it still?

Try the FTO LM Race Car. Put a Stage 4 in that dude and PLOW DIRT!!!!!!!!!

P. S. Don't take it on Tahiti Maze unless you can use a high power car on a dirt track...the term "Spin Cycle" has a whole new meaning.:p

Glad to hear you liked it meeekael... I put it on Kazaa now as well... :D

Stock TS020 (hybridised for rally) - 1'43 at the Maze...

just wondering...i been seeing you guys mentioning hybrids..what are they exactly or is it just joking?

hybrids are cars that have been modified via shark or X-port. As u can see these guys have created some pretting good results.

Ask Famine cause he knows the lot

A Fiat can't be taken rallying without an X-Port right? Same with a Supra...:trouble: I need one of those X-Ports.

Actually, I think the FIAT and Supras CAN be rallied. I'd have to check though.

Hybriding a car to rally is a fairly complex effort, so I'd suspect they are natural dirt tyre wearers.

meeekael - why thank you... :D I feel honoured now...

LVT if you click on the link in my post on P1, or Hyperion's response in this page you can watch a video of hybrids.

Essentially you take a part that ought to be fitted to one car and fit it to a different one. Like putting an Escudo turbo on a Mini Cooper. You can also take parts FROM the cars - like the entire Escudo engine and put it in the Mini. Or the chassis (which governs the weight, amongst other things). You can also just modify the hp directly - leading to things like my 571000hp Loctite Skyline. Check the hybrids forums here:

For the Supra, you don't need it. As for the FIAT, i'm not really sure. Never bought it at all.

I so wish I could put an Esky (Escudo) into a Mini Cooper. Even a GT-One into a Mini would be good!

Tell me. Whats the 1/4 Mile time you got with your Loctite?

I saw a XR8 In the rally this year but it was an older model but it went so fast!

I've been starting to use the FTO LM for all of my Rally races and I never spin out. You're just not experienced enough yet.
EDIT: Oh and wouldn't you know that my favorite track to race on it with is Tahiti Maze!:D
