For my wheel, I just use the shift knob, and pull back on it instead of using the circle button.

If it did, I would drive it alot. It may not be the best sound, but sounds more real compared to alot of others in game.

Edit: Why does the sound remind me of an R35 GT-R or a 370Z?

Guys i think its safe to say that my PS3 is legit dying from GT6, other games i can play fine like GTA or COD but for some reason it likes to suicide for $500 on GT6 (Aye see what i did there ;D, GTA reference lol)

Could be your game disc. I had heaps of trouble and bought new blu ray drives and a new PS3 to find out it was just GT6.

How could it be my disk? I've only had it for a couple of months, from 2 days after Christmas to be exact.
I took apart the PS3's hardware and checked everything, it all looked good apart from the 7 years worth of dust in there.

Once i took it apart there was two main components that were visible, what seemed to be a PSU i believe and the Disk drive, also a circuit board under the Disk drive

They all seemed to be in good condition, i was lead to believe it might be software problem or just the BGA units in the PS3 itself.

@ReDMySTiC Man, great runs today. it was a blast. we had some ups and down on the lobby (some ppl who couldn't even hold a tandem) but we made it. Hoping to have another experience like this one soon.
