I just rebought WRC for the 3rd time for 16.99 at EBgames. And some reason I keep going back to it. Its fun, but is it me, or the the cars look compact? Hmmm. Its weird, but anyway, lets talk about the entire WRC series in this thread.
Sweet. I might switch to the Lancer for Pro mode. Ive never beaten the game, I usually just get bored and never play it again. Is there any unlockables? Like older Rally cars? Fantasy tracks? Things like that?
ive had this game for awhile now, it was the first real rally game i bought for ps2, pretty awesome game 👍 it really feels like youre watching WRC on speed channel...hehe. Tho if you like that game, i'd check out V-Rally 3. It really brings more of the rally experience to you. IMO i think its one of the best rally games you can get on Ps2 (is colin mcrae on ps2? or is just xbox?)
So you still haven't got WRCII yet? I mean now WRCIII has been out for a long time. Although I the handling in III seems like a step backwards from II. The only thing that sucks about the WRC series, is the car dammage model.

Yeah, well i'm just suprised that they haven't bothered releasing any of the sequels to the first game.
I've only played the first V-Rally on the PSOne, oh the memories. Although it got blown out of the water when the first CMR game game out, I loved that game so much.

I've only played the first WRC, and wasn't really impressed (I did play it a few years after it was released, so that figures into it.). I've been watching out for WRC2 and 3 which have been out in Europe for a while if I am correct. Now THOSE are impressive looking games, even if only graphically. Is the handling better than the first? I found it kind of vague compared to other rally games I've played (CMR series notably).
speedvision touring series is amazing. I love it. They also sporadically cover WRC, so I can't complain. Oh wait I can... too much nascar, not even entertainment.
