I feel like I should find the purple sky most impressive but the dry lake is just mesmerizing.

It's in preparation for the end of daylight savings time. Pack it up early, so you can release it earlier in the morning.

In my book quite amazing, have done those around 2 weeks ago. Never saw such a beautiful sunset in my life (and I've seen many).

Found something quite rare/cool in my freezer this evening... an ice spike!

Why does it look like a jet fighter with four propellers on the right side? :odd:

Been a while since I've visited this thread. Glad I bounced back a page and saw this. That second shot has been saved to my tablet and set as the wallpaper. I may get it transferred to my personal and work PCs to add it in to the rotations on those devices. @R1600Turbo

This is a photo from 1964 of a youth club in Edinburgh rehearsing their version of 'West Side Story'...

Two things are cool/weird about this... both my parents are in this picture, 11 years before I was born and before they were married.

Also, my auntie is in this picture too - and despite the picture being 56 years ago, Facebook automatically recognised my auntie from this picture alone... cool but a bit creepy too.

Apropos of nothing, this picutre of Maine Road, former home of Manchester City, is absolutely brilliant. There's an earthy, urban charisma here that just resonates with me. The seamless and endless rows of housing around it.

This type of stadium will always be better than identikit BoringBowls next to out-of-town shopping centres.

After seeing the two above pictures of the stadiums, it got me wondering what my local cricket/footy stadium looks like form the same point of view.
