i"m so slow I have no hope of really competing plus I am almost certain to miss the first two races, thus if needed I'd be willing to give up my spot on the grid if we get full. I'd still like to race otherwise though.

I'll be hosting 6hr sessions tomorrow/Thursday/Saturday starting at 18GMT!

Sounds good! I'll be sure to make it up there at some point. Just to make sure but 18 GMT is 2 pm eastern time correct? Also the race room is going to open at 4 pm eastern time right? Just want to make sure I got my times right.

What about round 6 has anyone thought about where the last round will be? I vote for Motegi and if not there one of the tracks on the official schedule.

Practice sever is setup to go online at 18GMT/2PM US EST. Password for the session is "risingsun" drop feel free to drop in and set some laps guys! I'll drop by in and share all my setups!

Alright! Free practice 1 is done, results can be found here:

Lol! That's not a bad time! Pretty damn good for 10 minutes of practice, but damn look at Magz! 125 laps!!! Can you say determination?!

Yes sir! We can be flexible with practice, I can set it up for 19GMT if needed. Today it looked like 18GMT is too early...

Yeah I hate I couldn't make the first practice. I should be able to make the one Thursday and will defiantly be there on Saturday. The later start times are better for me.

sorry Jav a bit late, hope I can still make the cut

GTP: mamenzies

iRACING: Mark Menzies

Number: 25 if its available

Team Name: Billy no Mates, lol

Time Zone: GMT

I was unsure about running the Caddy but it feels really consistent after a few tweaks. Last night was the most practise ive done in the caddy but it feels right now. I enjoyed the practise session last night and look forward to the next practise sessions, I always try to race with respect and as cleanly as possible and will continue this way hopefully :) Hope to see you guys soon on track. PS thanks for the reminder Magz :)

Wowza. I haven't had the chace to drive the car in over a week. I'd better get my but in gear or you guys are going to wipe the floor with me!

20 is fine if it's fine for everyone else, I was wondering when the sunday race will end, my flight instructor will likely want to fly if it's not raining

Hopefully I can join the practice today. Got football at 20.00 but should be home by 22.00, so should be good to run for a couple hours.

I've got all my rig bits back from the powdercoaters and I'm hoping to have it all back together in time for Sunday's first race. Fingers crossed :)

Free practice 2 is set to go green at 20GMT/4PM US EST today, see you on track guys!

Hey guys, after todays practice, I realized I'm probably going to be a big hazard, If I don't get any better by sunday, I'll skip okayama purely because I don't want to be the one to ruin any of your days. But between now and then, I'll be practicing. My weakest points are the off camber turn 2, and the bump coming out of the weird double angle hairpin (turn 4 or 5?)

On the upside, I did a 1:35 before I left :), up from 1:38. I just can't do more than 2 consecutive laps with out spinning.

And jav, I watched a little bit of your lap and you look so smooth and it looks like you are taking your time, while I feel like I'm fighting it and driving the wheels off of it, yet you're 5 seconds faster comparing best to best when I left

This car is a total bitch, Roush. That's a fact. One must be totally in the zone for the entire race just to not make mistakes, let alone win a race.

I'm struggling to keep in the low 32s high 31s but then these guys run 29s! Insane.

I had lots of fun today, even though I was only able to catch the last hour of the practice. :( Thanks again to Jav for hosting.

Are you using a decent setup? That can be worth a few seconds.

nice time jav. ever so close to 28s

I don't think I'll get 28s, my optimum is at 29.013 right now and it is so damn hard to pull a real good lap in this car at this track! Gotta focus on consistency with this thing wich is proving to be quite difficult, I'm all over the track in this thing!

This car is a total bitch

Yup. Official race, started 4th, held 3rd for a few laps, lost rear grip for a second and then it spun six times off the track, in trying to save it the front end actually went the opposite way the front tires were steered...I still think there's something wrong with how this car is modelled. Cornering with the base setup is - apply brake, try not to slam splitter on ground, lock up the front right, back off, hope you haven't missed the turn, turn in, understeer, lift, car suddenly rotates, then understeers, back on throttle, becomes neutral, come over crest, you're backwards again. And any sliding or spinning of a wheel results in tires becoming ice from "overheating".

I promise you this is nothing like the real car or they wouldn't finish races. Annoying as ****.

Yeah, it's becoming a trend for the 1st iteration of the NTM on the cars. Once they get a full season under the belt with the car it becomes an awesome car to drive! The Corvette, Ford GT, HPD and DP where all like this then got better with each evolution of the NTM. Hopefully it'll be an awesome car next season!

Nice spin with menzies:)

Awesome stuff Magz!
