I thing it's just thing among us(small talk) to make a race little bit more spicy and challenging. I don't think no one expects to win p1 or 2 or 3 or whatever on count of PP. I hope Ill get some time to play during the weekend because it's madness at a moment. Also, it's a good race with Punto but I think AI really shows huge flaws at Ascari, is very slow on straights, breaks when it's not necessary, is horribly slow at that little uphill part towards the end of the circuit too.. Maybe that's why we are catching GTRs or whatever are we doing. I don't expect much from GT AI but so far of all tracks, it's worst on Ascari. On positive side (well I don't know how positive is) is very low in aggression so not big chance to hit you.

I just wanted to make sure that there are way to many factors that make a winner. I make my living teaching racing and have for 19 years of the 33 years that I raced. All that you are saying is 100% about AI are correct even in real life at the many schools that I teach at. All the stupid thinks that you mentioned with AI cars I get to see them at all the racing schools. So not much difference between real life and the stupid things that I see AI cars do in GT6. This why at any school that I go to only a very few get a rookie lic. to go racing and that is about 20% of the grand total of the many that are looking to go racing in the US. I have about a good 10 inches of records that I keep with me on the tracks that I am teaching at on any particular day. By the way I love how you think and why I am telling you that there is not that much different than from GT6:cheers:!!

That's actually vert interesting post Noel. I can imagine at school that people break randomly and nervous breakdowns that you could potentially have haha. In GT at least you can learn the pattern and in real life if someone gets insecure it's probably worst thing you can do. Something like traffic.. Get on throttle or keep still, insecurity is worst in driving IMO. I'll stop rambling now. It's very cool job anyways. I wish I could try out racing school even tho I know I'm too old for racing but I know you probably ain't going to teach in Europe and I'll probably won't go to US :)

Go slow to go fast is one of the hardest thinks to learn about racing:).

First time i try the NSX was horrible !!!
I was spinning allover the place and didn't knew why , the car was new, zero khm and was very disappointed and quit leaving this for this week.
Yesterday i start again and realize that for some reason was on rain tyres in the back!!!!
Perhaps due to the habit to spend cretits from the online era buying stuff for my cars .
So i took the first line up and try it again and again ....and again.
Finally i get the feeling and the grip of the car and end up from almost 7.00s to :

No tune

Not surprised that Paddy didn't win the BMW GTR as we talking about clean race with no contacts , paint jobs etc. With CS tyres.
I put over 1000 miles !! At that pundo with all available line up and realize that even and GTR can loose from Lotus and sometimes **** happens in the front runners fighting eachother .
So i put on SS tyres at 409 pp and get the job done without aids ,just abs and with Esprit in front.
My common problem was that in the two straights was always slower and passed by the faster AI or if i try to block them get a hit from behind as a gift.
So i try it the way i mention above ,at least run it the way it pleases me .
Have a good day guys

My dog Sputnick and the tree is were my family is from Corsica Castle San Colombano:lol:

Wow I googled it.. It's really in your family tree? I googled plenty about Corsica, it's beautiful place, I'd rather be there than in US to be honest. Also I heard from some older guys while ago that is not really smart "to mess with" corsican people :P Id still like to visit it some day (one of the few places, I'm not big traveler... I love Italy(was there many timea and can speak some language) and Id like to visit Colombia and that's basically my whole list lol

Yes to all I am the head of the Negroni family in the US and Latin American. Second in command and I report to Humbert Marque de Negroni in Corsica.

That's really interesting/cool Noel. Will let you know when I research Corsica some more if I'll have questions :) if you don't mind. :)
The history of our family dates back to the year 1090AD. You are more than welcome to read more about our family. I am currently working with a French magazine in Paris about the history of the invention of our family drink The Negroni. That article will be published end of November as I am currently working with one of the reporters that is writing the article about how it was invented. There is another book called "The Life Negroni" and that book is available on Amazon.

@skeagracing
Yes, thanks. I'm interested in stuff like that in general and specially when I have someone who I can actually ask questions. I came across that drink while googling before but thought "no way this is also related"
Shame you are in US if I visit some day (Corsica of course, I'm not even slightly interested in going to North America).
I'll check out some stuff when Ill have more time, but I'll send you pm regarding on that so we don't create too much off topic posts here mate  (I know I spam thread anyways, sorry guys :dopey:)
