Very interesting the upcoming Honda's challenge .
I pick the GT 300 race ( 4 laps ) to test the car and then went to the TT mod .
Clean the field easy and have almost 3 laps without traffic and raze my credits also.
Start at 550 pp and went down to 545 clocking dead 13s and high 12s .
One perfect lap gave me a low 12 .
If i can run the same at 540 pp will be greate ,but with the " if" ..... Nobody gets the girl in history.
The weird thing is that i use a very stiff tune ( from ghostrider ) which seems to work very well right now .

Yesterday noon i started again trying to twick a bit the set up at 540 pp and i did a 1.11.999 :lol:
So i went down to 535pp that actually end at 1.11.919 :banghead:
Unfortunately i had to move to 530 pp and according to my ghost to make sure that can't reach 1.11s no mater what.
Of course i clear the board to write the new times and i i will try it once again to make sure that 11s is out of reach .
From 550pp starting and finally end at 530 pp i think is a good improvement and a mark for div1 mates.
Notice also that with lower power was easier to control the car which means less room for errors if you keep the right line .
On the other hand you can't recover from a mistake but also you can't pass the 12 time mark.
If we keep this among the honestly bounds , equalising our performance it will be very interesting challenge.
Every team team has a chance to win and div2 players won't feel like pure relatives

Report from the NSX forest is out.
 
I had a little go myself today, at first I couldn't get close to 1:12 with stock pp. So I started turning and I've only manage to get down to 564pp, I'll be able to shave off some more pp but I don't think I'll get down to 530pp like @smoothbore12.
Which makes me think, are these cars similar in performance?
Maybe I've got the Mercedes of the Honda's?:lol:

I think the biggest difference come race day will be first 2-3 laps getting through the traffic.

I really hope this works and there's nothing I haven't taken into consideration.

I think that cars are pretty much the same performance Bryce.
Just saw today the set up from @paddycars1 which was totally on the other side that i use till now ( stiff vs loose) and try a bit to bring it to my driving skills.
The funny thing is that i can handle them both :lol:
Am not gonna stay at 530pp , 520-525 is my target to cut a little bit of shame :embarrassed: from what Torreto use for this.

Anyway ,my advice is use lower pp for the reason that you don't have to brake hard and you will be able to apply full throttle on corners and be more stable .
Your teammate set up ( not so twichy perhaps) might help you ,and trust me .... You ain't got the Mercedes of NSX , you ain't got the grip of the car yet .

I tried Paddy's tune to, (I changed a couple of things) seems to suit my driving style. I tried ghostriders tune but i found Paddy's better.

You all know that am facing problems with the clarity of pics that always getting dark pics at the corners my tab and tyres not look well but is SS .
Dead sure that div 1 will blast this .

Nice mate, now try it with out the power upgrades. Oil change OK.
