Dat boob action.datass.jpg

Glorious.
*drags me away* "I've had enough 'motivation'."
:3

Sephy and Dravvy are.

Nisemonogatari had the weirdest cliffhanger ever, but I <3 Shinobu's new outfit and Karen is

Btw, any suggestions for shows I should acquire?

Anyone watching Ano Natsu de Matteru? Style wise looks like Anohana and ToraDora.
I am. I watch it every Wednesday on Crunchyroll. It's good, but it hasn't really gone anywhere real well so far.
Btw, any suggestions for shows I should acquire?
I do, but of course you won't ever take any suggestions from me anymore merely because you don't like me.

BTW, any recommendations for me you got?

Thank gawd, the counter hasn't been moving. It's been at 28 since yesterday when WTK at FP reported on Hayate getting counters on TRSI.

Here's to hoping I still have a chance to get all 8 singles for Hayate the Combat Butler this year before they sell out. I hope Bandai's license isn't expiring because after all, they got Hayate back in like 2008, and the first DVD came out in 2009.

If it's a show you think I'll like, I'll consider it after looking into it.

Bakemonogatari and Madoka. Maybe some other things, I'd have to think about it.

I doubt I want to spend over $200 for HnG. I still need to get Haruhi S2 and Disappearance. I do get paid this coming Friday and my tax return, but I need to purchase MOAR parts for the duece

Well Hayate no Gotoku! is 52 episodes, so $200 isn't really all that bad.

I just emailed Rightstuf asking about Bandai's license, and if it's expiring, or already expired, so I'm hoping to get a response soon.

I forgot to mention, finished Spice & Wolf yesterday, and started Spice & Wolf II. Both were 8/10's. Also finished The Big O finally by finishing up season 1 (I had seen only season 2 get replayed over and over and over and over on [as] as they lost the rights to season 1-nobody knows why it appeared on [as] Gold Video last month. Season 2 they helped make, so they own it forever.). Season 1 is much better than season 2, and it makes me want that Blu-ray box (With subs and the dub.) even more. Can't wait to import it from Amazon Japan for about $355 later this year (Please good sales for the BD box, bring us a season 3. Fans have been waiting for like 10 years for a season 3.). That 8/10 it's had for 3 years remains.

What's this, Lucky*Star and Death Note in my Hayate the Combat Butler?

Damn if Other Selves have that kind of personality, I can't wait to see Rise's.

Also, Yukiko's persona is frikkin cool.

**** gets real in the later monogatari novels.

MAJOR SPOILERS FROM KABUKIMONOGATARI

I'M NOT KIDDING THIS IS AN ACTUAL SPOILER
In Mayoi Jiangshi, Koyomi and Shinobu accidentally travel back in time 11 years, the day before Mayoi's death. Koyomi, wanting to prevent Mayoi from turning into a wandering spirit, helps her travel to her mother's house. After they returned to the present, they found out the whole town was being infested with zombies. In this history, Koyomi has not met Mayoi, so in the events of Tsubasa Cat, he didn't get the information on Shinobu, or go near Mister Donuts, so Black Hanekawa killed him, causing this timeline's Shinobu to vow to destroy the world and make zombie vampires, or 'Jiangshi'. While searching for a power spot, Koyomi and Shinobu attract the zombies but are saved by a grown Hachikuji. It seems that Mayoi was not happy that she became a spirit, but was happy that as a spirit, she was able to meet Koyomi. Koyomi also stated that he's the happiest when talking to Mayoi.

So tempted to look, I'm just going to pray for more anime adaptations.
The interviewer asked if Shinbo would like to animate all of NisiOisin's original Monogatari novels, and Shinbo said he would.
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-01-10/nisemonogatari-anime-to-have-11-episodes

I posted this before, back when that news was completely new...

I'll honestly be shocked if everything isn't animated. Bakemonogatari set sales records (The last volume sold like 51,000+ in week 1.), and Nisemonogatari is going to sell even better than that.

Nekomonogatari

Kabukimonogatari

Onimonogatari

Koimonogatari

And 3 more novels to be released this year.

Tsukimonogatari
-Yotsugi Doll

Owarimonogatari
-Ougi Dark

Zokuowarimonogatari
-Koyomi Book

So is that basically all that hasn't been animated? I don't know much about the Monogatari novels, except that Bakemonogatari was a huge success in Japan with record-breaking sales. Not to mention Nisemonogatari is at the top of the DVD/BD rankings in general on Amazon Japan, and keeps regaining it's spot when it's knocked down.

Man, how many times could they make Bakemonogatari with the sales it got? 3,000 per volume is the magic number as I've heard to break even. 50,000+ is WAY above that.

LOL, Fate/Zero first press is almost sold out at CDJapan.

Basically yes. There is Kizumonogatari which explains everything that happened to Koyomi and Tsubasa before Bakemonogatari. It will be made into a movie, but there is a little preview of what happened in the first episode of Bakemonogatari.

So that's enough fodder for 9 seasons. Good enough for oh... 18 more years if they did a novel every two years

BTW how is it? I've found myself interested in getting it, along with a few other NISA releases (Mainly Arakawa Under the Bridge).

Don't know, haven't watched that or Arakawa. Katanagatari released one episode every month so that's what kept me away from it. But Arakawa Under The Bridge looks pretty interesting.
