Advertising! The goal of these is to increase sales of the source material, adaptations are literally advertisements. It's not like Hollywood where they're trying to cash-in, they're trying to boost sales of the source material.

Awww man, Nui is maaaaaad! I really wanted to see her finally go off the rails, and drop that Little Miss Kawaii act.

So much, "hell yeah!" in that ending. Most of all, Mako's got her Fight Club uniform back! I wanna see her kick some tail for once!

Also those sisterly moments. Senketsu being such a little wuss. So many good times.

So how big is each of those industries?
 
As incredibly just as it was for Nui to be turned into the Armless Couturier like that along with both scissor blades being properly reunited, seeing Ryuuko and Satsuki standing shoulder to shoulder ready to stick it to their mum and Mako donning her Flight Club-spec Goku were the real highlights.

I'm watching couple videos about it. Why is the art style so...sloppy. Lines are huge and not that much detail.

So, as I've finished Gurren Lagann, and Kill la Kill is steadily working towards a close, I'd like a list of good Anime to watch!

Something fun and silly, preferably, but I'd be okay with more serious stuff. So far I'm thinking FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, Soul Eater, and Akira. Any others to throw on the pile?
