That reminds me of a few others, a little older but they were good... Both based on mythology and the dark ages (I prefer the term medieval).
"Bastard" and "Record Of Lodoss Wars" (not sure about the exact name of the second one). It's been years since I've seen either and by years I mean atleast 7 years... Also, I've never seen either of them on TV before (I had to find them the old fashion way especially since I didn't have broadband 7 or 8 years ago).
Both were entertaining and Bastard is great for older people who would recognize all the refferences to '80s rock.
