Is there an Iron Maiden song I don't like? Hmm. I find Killers to be quite a passive album and I'd now rate it last, below NPFTD. But that's because I'm 'indifferent' to it, and not that I particularly dislike it.

But as for a song that I actually do not like, I'm not sure. It'd be an interesting thing to discuss.

In pure statistical terms, No Prayer For The Living is the Iron Maiden song that I have skipped the most times, with nine skips. Which is odd because I do like it.

:lol: It would be especially strange because No Prayer for the Dying (song, not album) is the ONLY song on the album I don't skip.

I'm planning on going to HMV again soon, which Iron Maiden CDs do you think I should get first. I'm going to get them all, but have to get money first :grumpy:

I've got all the 80s studio albums, Fear of the Dark and The Final Frontier. What's your opinion on the others. Which ones do you think I should get first?

So you've got Iron Maiden through to SSOASS, plus Fear Of The Dark and TFF.

I'd recommend Brave New World. It was a good listen. I've got the others from the 2000s barring A Matter Of Life And Death, and I've sat through them twice or thrice, but not enough to make a hearty recommendation.

Also, you have HMVs in Canada? Awesome! But HMV isn't a patch on Virgin or Music Zone, in days gone by...
 
All of them are good. Get them all. You don't know what you are missing out on.

Yeah we have HMVs in Canada, however if Iron Maiden isn't still 2 for 20$ then I'll get them off Amazon. I might be able to get them all, I just don't know how much they cost.

Thanks for the advice. I checked the HMV website and they were 20$ each. That's 132$ including tax for the six CDs. So I went to Amazon.ca, it was a lot cheaper. I bought NPFTD, X Factor, Virtual XI, BNW, and AMOLAD for 78$ including tax and shipping. Should be here in 4-7 business days. Unfortuanately, Dance of Death was out of stock for 2-5 weeks, so I didn't order that one yet.

In 4-7 business days I'll have 14 of Iron Maiden's 15 Studio Albums :)

Should have gone to CDWow! Get most albums for about $15 NZ. On the Canadian one most Maiden albums are $12 Canadian!!! See here. It's not dodgy either, I've purchased from there many times before. It's free shipping too.

That is the reason I decided to indulge my passing interest in Maiden, actually.

I always loved that song, the opening guitar riff and the epic vocals. And after hearing it again and again in TLOD, I thought "Sod it, buy an album".

Somewhere Back In Time, Best Of 1980-1989 followed and the rest is history...

Post script: Run To The Hills has by far and away the most plays in my Maiden collection. 302 plays, to be precise. 2nd place is Wasted Years with 104, closely followed by 3rd place Wasting Love on 98 plays.

Yeah, but we don't have Walmarts here. We have The Warehouse, which sells a big broad range of pop music and almost nothing else. I only bought one album there, though it probably is the best album I've bought. Which was Judas Priest's Nostradamus. That was $22 NZ.

Just before I ordered the albums off Amazon.ca (2-5 business days left), I bought The Wicker Man off Itunes with some gift card money I had. According to Itunes 3 days of it playing including constant playing during school adds up to 2 plays (with the exceptions of English, and Gym, and French, and Math, which is half my classes) Still though, it's a bit odd that it doesn't think I've listened to that song anywhere near as much as I have. Silly Itunes.
