My Girlfriend currently is in surgery since 8:00am, she is getting her Gallbladder removed. She was super scared, and she didnt really sleep, she came over at 5:30 to wake me up. I comforted her, and promised her that everything will go really well.

On other news, our relationship is going really well, her parents really like me, and my parents really like her. She is 3 years younger then me, not really a big problem. She likes cars, she likes my music, she likes to draw. She's quite amazing, im really glad to have her in my life, we fit so perfectly together. She likes her naps, and watching Worst Cooks of America

Congratulations, glad to hear it's working out for you. Hopefully the surgery is just routine. Keep us up to date on her recovery. 👍

She's doing much better, her mom asked me to stay for the night as her baby monitor to make sure she's okay. She threw up once more and went to bathroom 3-4 times because she got 3IV bags. This morning she's a bit less pale then yesterday. She told me she's feeling a bit better and not feeling nauseous anymore. I left around a 10min ago since i have class. I got her a teddy bear when i got back from class, and she named him Cuddles, and she held him in her arms the whole night. I didnt get the best sleep, but im glad that i was by her side making sure she was okay.

I did see her for about 2 hours at the hospital, and i just wanted to cry, the pain she was in was excruciating. And she almost cried, i held her hand, and she would sometimes held it tighter, and it kind of showed the pain she was in. I was so heartbroken seeing her like this.

So this happened today.

I was at the groceries, and i spotted a teddy bear, but not an ordinary teddy bear, but a 4 foot teddy bear. I couldn't resist. It was 30$, i instantly bought him. I went to her house, to drop it off, and i went home since my friend was at my house waiting for me, and i haven't seen him in three years or so. He left three hours later, and i went back to my girlfriends house, and when i got to her room, this is what i saw.

I always look for a girl I'm really attracted to the only problem is they are very hard to find its like they are a certain type. (I'm not looking for a supermodel or anything like that) its very hard to explain.

I'm still trying to figure why the hell I can't forget the girl I was going out until September... Every time I get my mind free of anything, first thought that comes to my mind is her... I don't know if it's because she studies in the same high school I went to (I studied there from 2011 to 2013, and she's doing a technical course that will help in her University course, which is Civil Engineering) which I can see from any window of my apartment, but I can't get her out of my mind and this is driving me insane. I'm in need of help, because that's now how I want to finish 2015... ¬¬'

Been seeing this girl for a couple weeks. Everything seemed to be going great, she seemed happy.

It's now been over a week since we last went out, she seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. Tried calling, texting, emailing asking if she was alright but get no reply. So I guess it is time to move on...

Jeeeesus, if I actually wanted a girlfriend I think I'd be with one by now, no...? And I sure don't want to have kids, I'm not patient enough for this 🤬; every time I hear a child cry out randomly, I feel a murderous instinct awakening inside me.

I'm starting to think that my family despises me. They are always against anything I'll ever say.
The only people that will comfort me are my schoolmates...

She finally got back to me last night. Very apologetic, but said she was busy with family and Thanksgiving stuff, then her mom had her back and knee go out at the same time over the weekend and had to take care of her.

I guess I could buy that but at the same time wondering why she couldn't take 5 minutes to send a text and let me know what was going on.

When she's going through crisis after crisis at home, who does she share that with and look for sympathy from and a shoulder to lean on? Everyone but you. It's harsh news but if it were a buddy of yours that it happened to I think you'd see it clearly. She should have run towards you during that time not away from you. She was hoping that by ignoring you, you'd go away. Your best bet at this point is just to move on.

Also I never liked the whole read into the situation approach. I'm more of a straight forward type of guy. If I was in this situation, I would just ask her if she still has an interest in this relationship. Straight to the point, yes or no question and answer.

If no, wish her mother all the best, and move on. Got no time to sit there and analyze the situation, contemplate if her story adds up, etc. Plenty of other fish in the sea.


I always fall back to the band-aid analogy I said a couple pages ago. Just rip it off quickly. It'll only hurt a little bit and you can move on.


Now regarding your point about whether the story is legitimate or not, there's another thing you have to consider. They have only been dating for a couple weeks. I don't know the level of intimacy they share, but I'm almost certain they're not best pals. Sure she MIGHT be on the phone almost 24/7, but she's not going to cry on some bloke's shoulder who may be a potential partner.

I haven't been able to see her because I have been in and out of hospital for most of November and December. I did get to see her a few days ago and I was generally excited to see her I could hardly say what I wanted to and she wanted to talk to me. I'm going to buy her something for Christmas but I'm not going to have much of a chance to speend time with her in January.

We've only been going out a short time, so I'm probably not close enough to be a shoulder to cry on. Every time since then though we plan to go out to dinner, movie, whatever, she cancelled last minute because of her work. (Frankly I'm more pissed about showering/shaving on the weekends for nothing)

She claims her workload will settle back down after the holidays, so I'll wait till then. If she still seems like she is avoiding me then I'll just tell her to have a nice life and I'll move on.

Good advice on dealing with this type of situation and how to move on:tup:👍 Don't get too hung up on the "shoulder to cry on" thing it's just an expression. Beyond that, it's simply common courtesy to at least respond to a text from someone you are dating and tell them in a minute or two what is happening and why they aren't getting back to you. That's a bare minimum IMO, but the fact that they are dating, even as new daters, and she didn't respond, tells me she probably isn't into him. There may be more going on than meets the eye and she deserves a second chance of course. We'll see what happens.

My ex-girlfriend decided to re-add me on Facebook after 9 months of...well apparently compulsive partying and alcohol consumption according to her Facebook updates at the time.

We chatted a little bit since we didn't exactly end on bad terms but ultimately I had to give her the flick again because neither myself nor my current girlfriend trust her. And while my current girlfriend knows that I'm faithful to her, it's not worth the headache anyway.
