So I've had it with texting. I am ALWAYS the one who starts a conversation with my 'friends'. It pisses me off. Because I am the ONLY one who is willing to put an effort into a friendship and ask 'How are you?' 'Hey luv!' 'Hi babe, how was your day?'. I am the ONLY one that cares and it pisses me off every goddamn day!

Anytime someone texts me, is if they're interested in something. 'Do you have the schedule?' 'Do you have this?' 'Is there something happening tomorrow?'

NO ONE has ever asked 'How are you Sal?' 'How was your day?' 'Wassup?!'

Whatever happened to that ship named Friend....? Oh, I see it has already sailed.

Welcome to my world...

That is mostly my personal life in that paragraph. If I were to show you my text messages, it'll date back to early 2013. The most recent text messages are from my family members (which the most recent was from my sister, but that's a separate post) and that's mostly only for interest of something or to ask me to do something. The last text from a friend, which I had to start the conversation AGAIN, was last week and a few days added on. Others... are months behind, but hey I quit caring and hoping. Half of the friends I have personally usually only call me for something they want... make that 8.5/10. I stopped starting the conversation first during towards the end of school because to me, if you can't be bothered to talk to me, why should I bother doing to same? It had gotten more quiet personally when I did that, but I just reverted back to the great website of GTPlanet and some friends on Facebook.

The term 'friend' nowadays just means someone you know and don't have problems with so you'd associate with them to do something that you want with them... or at least to most people. Very few are worthy of the proper 'friend' title.

Only a few family members call me to say hello. Other times it's just texts. But, I don't know if calling adds on to your phone bill since I'm with Verizon.

Well it's done and dusted now. She took it as the entire relationship meant nothing to which I said numerous times that it did.

She did make me happy when I was in her company. But I just thought it wasn't fair on her to stay with her if I'm not over my ex fully.

Again, if they're a slut and love drunk sex every weekend, sure.

Sex is what both parties make of it. I'm not surprised if this escapes you.
 
@Madertus I realized something, I might have put my words together wrongly yesterday weeks ago. I wasn't implying you were also like me, an immature fool. Just the part about being with somebody else. Just like you, I prefer being alone.

Try not being your usual self for a while. Try not texting to say 'hi' for a week or two and see who notices. Don't you just love experiments?

When school ended for me, I never kept in touch with any of my old schoolmates and after a while, I realized this. But to be honest, I'm part of the problem in that anyway.

Don't be afraid to try the experiment yourself! You'll definitely fare better than me! :p

I agree with maaaaaany posts of the current page... it's so damn true... Sad & true...

Personally, I don't care being the guy that always starts text conversations or calls... I care for a lot of people... :) And I don't care if they call me or not, they are still important to me :)

On topic... well, there's nothing important to mention... :p

Having a one nighter with someone ain't a relationship. A girl for a one nighters just that, but "use until they've worn out" is rather sexist. The greatest likeliness to a tyre I find is if you pay for them... (not in anyway insinuating that anyone here does that)... And those women don't really value themselves if that's all they are interested in.



My number #1 thing I have found out about women myself personally is know when to keep your distance or not - sometimes I feel like it's "damned if you do go near as they think you're getting too close, damned if you don''t because it's not showing you caring". Can anyone else here relate to that?

Now, I'm not entirely sure which sorts of women you're suggesting don't value themselves by that statement - either those that are paid for, or simply those that have one-nighters - but that's a massively large assumption to make without knowing any of the details.

So long as both parties are on the same page - and safe - there is nothing inherently wrong with one-nighters.

The word friend is a word some people don't like in this thread, or something they just can't be with a person.. Nothing wrong with talking about friendships in this thread, besides, this is the general relationship thread.

This 100%. There seems to be a lot of double standards being thrown around in this thread. But I'm not going to start an argument over them.




Anyway, switching gears. Just like out of a movie, I saw my ex with a new guy the other day. She hadn't crossed my thoughts in ages, yet at that single point, jealousy, longing, anger, hate, and bitterness all washed over me lol. Why does that happen? One minute I was completely fine with never talking to her again, then literally another minute later I simultaneously missed her, liked her, hated her, and would have done anything to win her back. Those feelings for the most part faded as the day went on. Needless to say, I really could have gone without that. I mean, nearly 5 million people live in the metro area here, but I run into them?
On a decent note though, my boss, who's a pretty awesome girl, has been sending some strong signals my way. Our company doesn't have a policy against dating, so at the next "team" outing I will start fishing for clues, then make moves from there. Ah sweet, back on the scene haha. :)
 
She hates her ex boyfriend. She wants to punch him in the mouth. The kid that did everything to her. This past Saturday she ran into him at a concert and he threw a glass cup at her and it sliced her leg open. There's a nasty gash there.
