She lead me on all summer. The one girl I have cared about for the longest time of my life man. *shakes head in self-pity* If she really didn't want something then she should have just told me from the start. I wouldn't have bothered. That never happened. Her reaction when I caught her sealed that. She knew she screwed up..

Just remember one thing. Only put in effort if you are receiving some kind of result. If you're putting effort into a relationship and see that the person isn't exactly appreciating what you're doing or saying, then bail out. There is no point in wasting your time and getting hurt. I don't want to sound like an absolute dick, but in some moments, it seemed as if you led yourself along. Next time, try not to get yourself so caught up and take time to realize the things a girl may be saying, or the signs they may be giving off. We have all fallen into the well of thinking women are interested in us, only to find out they've been using us for mental support. I guess it's just learning from your mistakes, and that can be a start.

I was recieving very positive results. That's why I continued. Otherwise I wouldn't have. Ask @Ken Koios himself, he's seen a lot more than what I've posted on the forums. He absolutely agreed with me on all accounts. He, most of my friends, even my family were absolutely sure that things were going to work.
 
As long as you realize your biggest mistake was playing the White Knight to her & not proceeding to an actual relationship after that, you'll find someone else. This girl will be a life lesson in relationships.

I met my partner (now fiancee) online. I went through a couple years of online dating before finding the right one.
I actually quite enjoyed my time online dating, sure you'll have a fair few dud dates, a few time wasters, but you'll also go out and get to meet quite a few really nice girls. Once you start organising two or three dates a week with different hotties you no longer want or enjoy being a 'shut in' anymore, trust me :).
I must admit you'll definitely find it harder being unemployed, but I also guess you could argue if you did find the right one your employement situation shouldn't matter.

I've always wondered weather online dating is trust worthy how do you know if there scammers or not? Thanks for the good advice guess I might give it a go. My situation at the moment is not going to get any better or worse and should have a job soon so that settles that :). Ha ha I've been gaming at home for the last few years and hardly go out to see people so maybe it could be a step in the right direction. Being unemployed is the last thing I want right now I want work and have a great relationship with a woman. Also would be good then I can go travelling with her.

Me: Ah. Well Quebéc is throwing me off. I travel a lot. I observe different people and their cultures. You've got the skin tone and facial structure of an italian however you are mixed. You're a natural brunette with a beautiful slender nose, blue eyes and medium sized lips. I thought you were more from the northern side of Italy.

Me: So your dad must've yelled a lot seeing as he's from Napoli *chuckle*

Girl:..... yeah... he used to yell a lot. Also abused my mom until my mom filed for a divorce. I haven't seen him for three years after I told him that I didn't want to see him anymore.

I did a nervous laugh and she sort of shrugged it off.... we exchanged phones, entered names and phone numbers. Walked a bit more and went our seperate ways.. the last thing she did was smile and said she'd text me.

I was pretty darn sure honestly. But your mother is right. She is young, immature, and will lead you on again.
 
You saw the messages we exchanged very regularly. You know what was said back and forth between myself, her and my family. She cared. But I don't know why she just left me hanging. Clearly it wasn't enough, or she was just flat out lieing the entire time.

Or she knows that you are showing your exchanged messages with people. Likely that's a big no-no in many girls' books.

Highly unlikely in my case. Very very few people ever saw or were told what they consisted of. Otherwise entirely private.

She still wouldn't know, or most likely wouldn't catch on unless she somehow figured out who I was; someone would have to tell her.

If someone on the Planet ruined this thing for me, I don't even know what I'd do :lol:
 
I've been talking to some girls and apparently I'm one of the guys that are the most attractive and have the best personality they know so I don't know whether to go full "on the market" of focus on one girl

If you focus on one girl and she leads you on and decides later on she's bored or whatever, you could have missed out on someone much better.

I just hope I can get my car fixed tomorrow (battery died today), so we can go to eat with her family without any problems :cheers:
