So uh.... When's a good time to ask for her number?

And is it weird to ask if her friends are around?

ask for it in a comfortable situation. If your friends are childish, then yes. Nothing wrong with showing interest in a woman with friends around. If they say stupid ****, ignore them completely.

@cnd01 @GTboyz We're all the same age and her/my friends are fairly mature.

If you're about post-teenager years (like me!) just go with what feels natural. After a good meal, or a fun day, when everyone's in a good mood, maybe. In the end, it's your decision and we're all trying to figure things out.

But some people are better than others. Given that I've never been in your situation, I can't give much advice, but I can say that I am normally just brave about asking girls to go places.

Question...

Go for it dude :)
Reply...

Careful to read what people post ;) Reading what people say and remembering it is a good way to impress someone, and shows that you really care.

Talking to different girl, having hung out with her in person... ever, really... but we were classmates and got to talking on Facebook.

Things might happen. I don't know.

I told my friend on last Saturday that if I don't ask her to the semi by Wednesday, he has my permission to slap me in the face. Hopefully that'll help encourage me to ask her. *thunder boomed IRL  * I guess I kinda procrastinated and now tomorrow's Wednesday.

The main reason i believe as to why I don't have the confidence is because I'm too self conscious. I'm Chinese and my English ****s up sometimes. I'm just not confident in myself. *sigh* :c

And she's pretty and has the most beautiful eyes and has an adorable sneeze. She's also almost as smart as I am in Science and French. (My schools filled with idiots so the smarter kids stand out a bit) *dreamy sigh*

*sigh*

Just to let you know, a coworker of mine gave me her number to hang out. We did and after that,it just seems that she is trying to elude me. But this is to give you guys a update. ( she is probably 5 years younger than me)

You've gotta see what's going on, is she really trying to elude you, or is it that she gets distracted very easily?

That happens too often with my friends , did you really have a comfortable conversation topic about something she likes?, remember that it should be from information you know from her that won't make you look like a creep, digging for her personal information, specially if you just have known her...

Oh, and how old are you?

25, I guess we did. I didn't mind her talking about random things, from my first impression is that she needs to live life. She came from an abusive relationship, turned down a college entry because of that relationship and is looking for friends. Though yesterday, I tried to walk her out and she called me weird. I don't mind not drinking Alcohol though.

Abusive in which way?

If it is what I'm thinking (Overall abusive), she's not so confident on men, that could explain why is she trying to elude you and calls you weird, she knows you're trying to make a move and is making herself looking oblivious of the situation..

How long ago did that relationship ended?

If it's been not so much, you might have to approach her slowly, gain her trust, and give her time and space, if it has been too long, I'm afraid that it is beyond my helping abilities, I'd need to talk with my brother about it

And also what do you mean when you said that she needs to live life? is she timid? not outgoing?, if you're confident and outgoing, that's a point in you favour, in a relationship, women look to fill her fears and cannot's with a person that is able to do what she can't

Physical, verbal probably. A relationship that she was limited on what she can do and cannot. Like I am wondering if I am making a move also. I like having her around but we don't talk at work, so I tend to keep to my Ebooks. She has been through a tough life so far. Her ex broke her collarbone and she had a bad car accident. Otherwise, she is very talkative, friendly, has a nice smile, hardworking, cute but she does keep things to herself.
