Go and ask her, despite how nervous you will be. Chances are you'll probably will go out with her and even if she'll decline, you possibly can make friends with her (and maybe work your way up).
 
So, this girl from high school is liking like every photo I post of my car. Every. Single. One. Normally, I don't mind, but why every photo?

Depends on the context of what she says. A lot of girls will dance around saying, "no", and will attempt to let you down easier with an excuse or phrase that still literally means, "sorry, but no".

This depends on the situation. I was asked out by a girl I liked, but was actually legitimately busy.

On the other hand, there is insincere "oh, I ummm am ummmm busy, my family is moving away to Scotland soon."

Girls are complicated (Even I can say this). You have to get to know them... and even then you'd still don't know anything about them. When they say no, sometimes it's unconfirmed/uncertain or is as what it mean- no. Thankfully, I don't have to find out because I just make friends with them.

Sugar-coated? Is that the new word for friendzoned? Whatever, just be glad if she said that she'd be friends with you. At least it'll not be as awkward than trying to go out and it failing so then you'd look at each other differently.

The girl I might end up dating told me she couldn't hang because she was going in to the hospital. A few days later, her Facebook wall exploded with people saying "glad you're out of the hospital."

:irked: honesty is the best policy.

Andrew, not to sound mean, but can you give her a bit of space sometimes? I know you're trying to work on getting her, but give her a break from talking. I know I would have liked some time from talking every once in a while (I'm a bit feminine, so I can click with females and get an idea better than some others).
