Wish we had Cup cars like back in the day. Would help with variety for the Daily Race folks.

Would go well with other one-make pre-tuned race cars like the Civic, definitely
Allow me to expand on that a little bit:
  • Toyota GR86 Cup Car (Could also make it Gr.4 compatible as a more modern alternative to the GT86)
  • Ginetta G40 Junior or GT5 (Probably one of my favourite “Slow” cars in FM8, would be a blast with GT7’s more advanced physics)
  • Ferrari 296 Challenge (For those looking for a faster experience, and could be used as Ferrari’s new Gr.3 car in a pinch)

I have other themed lists in my thoughts....

As a fan of both Pontiac and Plymouth it's a shame there are only 2 cars in game for each, so here is 4 cars that could bolster each brands ranks.

----------------------------------------------------

Plymouth Prowler
1997-plymouth-prowler-archived-test-review-car-and-driver-photo-602614-s-original.jpg

A unique retro-styled factory hot-rod, the Prowler was the test bed for advanced aluminum forming processes. This was one of the last new Plymouth vehicles released, and one of the few that wasn't just a cheaper Dodge.

Plymouth Roadrunner
Plymouth-Hemi-Road-Runner.jpg

In an era when muscle cars were getting heavier and more plushy optioned, Plymouth went back to basics with the iconic Roadrunner, stripped back to bare necessities and powered by the baddest motors in the Mopar fleet.

Plymouth Voyager
PLYMOUTHVoyager-7504_1.jpg

While a pretty boring car as far as sporting goes, the Voyager and Caravan duo are unmistakebly key players in the evolution of American automobile culture, kick-starting a brand new automotive segment, of which the brand would be at the forefront for decades. Also in later years it got a spicy Turbo model which could be fun.

Plymouth Duster
1972-Duster-340.jpg

The result of a skunk works operation to create a sporty version of the pedestrian Valiant, the Duster proved a smash hit despite big papa Chrysler's desire for Plymouth to focus on boring passenger malaise. With a potent 340 under the hood, this car would easily hang with the best of GT7's muscle car roster.

----------------------------------------------------

Pontiac GTO(VZ)
2005-pontiac-gto-2dr-cpe

A controversial car when new, with Holden coming back to GT seemingly unlikely, the next best thing would be the Pontiac rebadge. Despite being somewhat unloved in their day, these late-model GTO's have become modern classics, relatively affordable and easily moddable, and GT wouldn't be any different

Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 20th Anniversary
origin-549.jpg

While the standard GTA would be the straightforward option, why be normal when you can be different? In 1989 for the 20th Anniversary of the Pontiac Firebird General Motors decided to drag back out the Turbo 3.8 from the old Grand National and give it the once over, creating the fastest accelerating American road car of the era.

Pontiac Fiero GT
1988-pontiac-fiero-gt

Despite a rough launch and subsequent bad reputation, by the end of it's lifespan the Fiero was a potent machine, especially in GT guise powered by a punchy V6. This car deserves a place in GT as a worthy rival to the MR-2.

Pontiac Can Am
the-story-of-the-pontiac-cam-am-the-forgotten-malaise-era-gto_5.jpg

An obscure piece of American motoring, the Pontiac Can-Am was an attempt to bring Muscle Car flair to the slow selling LeMans. Unlike many other American cars of the time which were all show, no go, the Can-Am featured the engine from the contemporary Trans-Am, rated at 200 HP (which is only 10 off the stated power of that years Corvette.) Unfortunately it was canned after one year as GM brass thought each Can-Am sold took away from the Grand Prix, which was having record sales. A shame too, but we could be able to experience this car in GT if it were to come.

There are many cars here that I would welcome with great enthusiasm. Some, like the Mondeo, Q7, and Cayenne, are purely personal taste; others, like the Celica, Altezza, Civic and the Eclipse, are cars that I think would completely fill the JDM category; and then there are some, like European hatchbacks and supercars from the 2000s. Since I prefer that era, I tend to be sympathetic to some of these cars, but I think there may be some cars on this list that could make a comeback or arrive without too much trouble.

Hey guys,

I know we've all been looking forward to the arrival of the new BMW M3 and M5 in Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation 5 for years. I completely agree with you.

But honestly, I haven't heard anything about an update with those cars in months. It seems like the director of Gran Turismo isn't doing anything to add new BMWs. I have no idea what he's doing or what other cars he wants to put in the game—but apparently not an M3 or M5…

And yes, of course it frustrates me! Come on, we just want to race the latest BMWs!

I want them all! Now! 😀

If I had to choose one, it would be the Mustang GTD - …what a Beast 😈

Considering my previous posts in this thread my latest wishlist is as follows:

  • 1992 BMW 850CSI
  • 1994 Ferrari F355
  • 1994 DTM Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W202)
  • 1997 Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG
  • 2014 Porsche Turbo
  • 2019 VW Golf R Variant
  • 2025 Ford Mustang GTD (see video above)

Wishlist thread, not wishvid or wishonecar.
We'd like to see things into which some thought has gone, so please don't make excessive lists. If you're posting every Ford Fiesta ever made, every track in France, or a list of 1800 cars/250 tracks, or cars already in the game, you're not really doing that. Please keep your posts to a reasonable length; think about things you'd really want, if someone was holding you at knifepoint for a quick answer. And don't just post pictures, or make individual posts for individual cars - it's a wishlist thread.
If you want to suggest one car, that's what the Suggestions/Cars forum is for. And, for some reason and despite the usual practice of folks instantly suggesting any newly unveiled car, that one isn't in there...

I can only dream that the newest M3/M5 Touring cars would come to GT7. We can only hope those cars will be in GT8.

At least we have several M3's in GT7 aswell as the M4 and the M2 is currently my favorite and go to car. The rumble that car gives is just amazing (fully tuned, no engine swap). I need to focus on the M3's and M4 a bit (fully tuning and engine swapping).

Also i can't quite remember if it was GT3 or GT4 but in one of those games i used a RS6 to complete many many events/races. Tuned that RS6 was a beast and it also had the low engine sound pulling up. Fantastic car.

These cars removed in GT7 at launch, returning in GT8 at some point as 2026 or 2028.

  • Audi R18 TDI (Le Mans 2011) (Redundancy)
  • Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo by Pininfarina
  • Mercedes-AMG F1 W08 EQ Power+ '17
  • Mercedes-AMG F1 W08 EQ Power+ (Color Variation) '17
  • Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo LH Edition

Is Mine Circuit still existing? Last information i could gather is that Mazda was using it as proving grounds, but i don't know if the track was demolished by now.

GT7, and more importantly the next game to come, would benefit from a more diverse starter car roster into the A & B segments :

  • Audi A1 II Sportback S Line '22
  • Hyundai i20 N '21
  • Ford Fiesta MkVII '22
  • Fiat 500e '20 (I know, I know...), or hopefully the 500 Hybrid '26 to come
  • Renault Twingo III Phase 2 '19
  • Peugeot 108 '14
  • Chevrolet Spark M400 1.0T '19
  • Mitsubishi Mirage VI '19

PD like these One Make races so much, I had suggested Aussie Racing Cars a while ago.
They’re still popular today:

Adding to the theme are theses Legends Cars USA, Japan and Australia

I miss more wagons like in the days of GT2.

We could start with this Tommy Kaira M20b Wagon 1996 based upon the GF8 Subaru Impreza.

DSC-6679.jpg

PD: I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but to open a thread for car suggestions, I've seen that the name for tuned cars should first be the name of the original car (in this case, a Subaru Impreza GF8) and then the brand that tuned it (Tommy Kaira)

But I've also seen cars in the suggestion thread that have the Tommy Kaira name in front of them (like the R34), and I'm not sure how I should write the title if I want to include it in the suggestion thread.

Daihatsu Rocky / Toyota Raize / Perodua Ativa

Vehicle Suggestion for GT7 – Urban Crossover Trio from Japan & Malaysia

Please consider adding the Daihatsu Rocky, Toyota Raize, and Perodua Ativa to Gran Turismo 7. These compact crossovers, built on the Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) platform, offer a fresh take on modern city driving with a touch of sportiness.

Drivetrain: FF / AWD

Engine Options:

1.0L turbocharged 3-cylinder (1KR-VET)

1.2L naturally aspirated (WA-VE)

Transmission: CVT

Power Output: ~98–105 PS

Weight: Approx. 980–1040 kg

While not designed for the track, their nimble handling, lightweight chassis, and urban agility make them ideal for Touge routes, Autopolis short, or Tokyo Expressway.

The Perodua Ativa, Malaysia’s localized version, would also will be the first-ever Malaysian car in GT history — a symbolic inclusion for Southeast Asian players.

These cars are more than budget crossovers — they represent a new generation of accessible, efficient design with potential for surprising fun when tuned.

Hi Polyphony Digital & GT Community 👋

I’d like to request the addition of
Please consider adding
Just so you know, we're not Polyphony Digital, nor anything to do with Polyphony Digital. We're an independent media and forum site with no role in the development of Gran Turismo (or any other game) and have no ability to add anything to it.

Since this is wishlist I am going to ask for some TVRs
Of course I'll start with the Speed 12 ( I realize this has the least chance of happening since there aren't many left)
Speed 12.webp

Of course the Cerbera
Cerbera.webp

The Griffith ( I still have bad memories from the the last license test at SSR11 with this car lol)

Sagaris

Finally the 350T

I have to say if I never played GT I would have never known about this wonderful car company. To me that has been the thing about GT I enjoyed the most the fact I get the chance to digitally experience all of these wonderful and different cars that on my own I would never have gotten that opportunity

More like "any"

The one in your image (also called BHG) is it. There's a second chassis (BFV) made up with an Aston Martin V12 in it, but the car's had more names than models ever produced (Project 7/12 concept, Speed 12 concept and race car, Cerbera Speed 12 "production" and race car) and BHG is really the final evolution of the Cerbera Speed 12 with race car bits and bobs on (and carved through) it.

Ah, a "Malaysian" car. Although, if I had my go on it (which I think it's done already):
1) Proton Satria Neo (2006-2015)
1754051607444.webp

1754051963628.webp
1754052030718.webp

Kind of a no-brainier when it comes to wishing for Malaysian cars to appear in the game. It's somewhat sporty in its standard trims for a 3-door hatchback. Kinda a jack of all trades when it comes to the brand's motorsport ventures at the time. From road racing to rallies (Group N to Super 2000) it was as much of a poster child of the brand as the previous generation was to many people. Speaking of Group N, it was (and still is) the only Proton to have been sold in Japan through Cusco, in a time when the GT86 didn't exist for a short time.

2) Proton Iriz (2014-Present)
1754052363418.webp
1754052391916.webp

1754052439911.webp

Rumor has it that it's going to be away for the next year or so. At one point it was supposed to be the brand's answer to the Perodua Myvi. An evolution of Italdesign's Proton EMAS concept from 2010, many argued that the Iriz was superior to the Myvi in-terms of ride quality (which might be the case). Just like the Satria Neo, it had its fair share in motorsports from production-car racing, rally races, and even an entry for rallycross variant. In hindsight, it had a lot of potential, even a 1.3l 6MT Turbo was displayed as a prototype. But instead, it was one of the last cars done by the company before Geely took a 49.9% stake of the company.

I could go on and list the current generation of the Perodua Myvi. But, the current facelift is only sold as a CVT, and knowing how much of a joy it is to tune CVT-equipped cars in the game, I rather not see it. Unless it's the prefacelift models. And I doubt Proton would ever make an apperance, if it's motorsports division has apparently gone under. It even took T10's notes by not saying a thing about what's really going on!

Why do you have to be a dream killer man ? :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
