lol, no , the one I saw that was for sale had an 850. Me, being a fan of horsepower, and also being american, makes me want some more juice. the 1275 will do nice.

I get my learners on June the 17th...So its about 3 months away. Id love to get the clubman then, but convincing my parents is another story!!

Hey, Radicool, when do you get your L's?
 
I get my L's next year, my birthday is in june so around then.
I'm so glad I'm not born in 1990, because they have to wait till there 19 to get there L's, I don't know about other states but that's the way it is in S.A.
 
what rules are you under radicool?, when do you get your L's,P's and full license? etc
 
I get my L's next year and I think I have to wait a year to get my P's or something like that. This is what my sister told me and she probaly got told this by her driving instructor.:)
 
i got my L's at 16, i got my P's at 16 1/2 and my full licence at 19. i had all my driving lessons done exept the last (log book) where he passes me in the first 3 months, and finished the last on the exact day i turned 16 1/2

they cost $40, 000AUS. i got this info from my january MOTOR magazine.
 
Yeah I've done a lot of research on the new Mini Cooper S. But I don't know too much about the old ones. miniusa.com has a build your own section and I know almost exactly what I want except I'm not sure if they works package is worth the $4500 USD they want. It brings it up to 200hp but it doesnt really do much justice with it either. I have found a kit that will upgrade the S to 215hp and is only $1500 USD but it will void the warrenty. Well I got a year before I invest in a new car so I got time to think about it.
 
I heard there's an M5 powered mini. Not the Qvick.
 
Yeah everyone loves the JCW kit. But I am so tempted by the 15 more hp I get and for almost a 1/3rd of the price! But again it doesnt have the backing on bmw's warrenty which is one of the best things about a new mini. However, when equiped with a works package and the other options I want (sport package, and the dual moonroof) its cost about the same as a 6 speed Mazda RX-8 which would be a better performer. Though if I get an RX-8 I wouldnt get as cool of an interior, turn as many heads, or get that go-kart like handling. So it gets to be a tough decision.
 
Agreed. I still have to save for another 6 months or so to register my Mini before I can drive it on the US roads. Until then, i have to use my dad's Tahoe, and that thing is the exact opposite of a Mini. The car makes me want to kill myself :lol:

P.S. I am not serious, i love my life a lot.
