The Jammu and Kashmir Thread

While this thread is focused on the region, it is more aptly applied to Pakistan and India, and how they treat the region.

According to India Today, Pakistan was caught violating the cease-fire by firing on Indian positions along the disputed territory. No one was killed or injured, but according to sources familiar with the defense, Pakistan was caught firing on Kasaba village, one such town with an Indian defense position. India did retaliate.

All that region including Pakistan itself is India that split up because the Muslim majority north west, wanted their own country, the british allowed it before giving independence to india a few years later.

Kashmir remained India but Pakistan claimed it as well due to the muslim population and that is how it is now.
