I doubt a Nissan promoted update would pair one of their GTRs with Toyota's Fuji circuit...

The NISMO festival last year was at Fuji

GT like Toyota. Or Toyota like GT, seems to be the only one. Could use Fuji regardless.

Out of context but do you believe PD will deliver the 500 cars(kaz said they would) by the end of GTsports life-cycle?

there's 270 cars left, dunno if that will happen

I would think they have GTS 4K/8k quality cars made up, for the next GT game. They wont want to give them all to us now as no reason to get the next game.

Next GT game will still come out on the PS4(quick last cash-grab at PS4 a lá GT6), a next-gen GT game though, boy oh boy I'd say wait til 2024(actually not even kidding)

Its possible, but 500... it depends if they keep releasing 10+ cars nearly every single month, which would really exhaust PD out. I reckon there will 350 cars minimum by the end of the cycle, but PD do pull great surprises.

Another possibility to reach those numbers(which they are doing already with certain cairs (mustang) would be
road version
group 4
group 3
safety car

Yeah, thats very true. 350 new cars minimum and 150 car variations on top. That would work, only would PD really do that though? Im sure they have their fixed amount of gr 3 and gr 4 cars for the FIA championship games. Adding new safety cars and road versions for the mileage exchange would make it possible too.

When Kaz tests out a new car for Gran Turismo Sport's next update:

Sorry for double posting but I had to.
There’s been a new track/track layout in literally every major update.

We’re getting tracks. Seeing people aking for them in every update thread is getting tiring
How about more cars this update and no track?

Kaz seeing this and nevertheless deciding on what to put in the next update:

That strategy did not work the first time,GT6 had poor sales for the GT franchise.

Every car in GT Sport will receive a graphics upgrade for the PS5 same goes for the tracks, they won't build everything from the ground again.

We already have the update trailer

Please post these in the relevant thread. Don't want memes to saturate this thread when there is one especially for them.

Anyhow, looks as though a June update is off the table. Unless something is dropped out of nowhere, it's not happening.

So the june update, come or not??
C'mon PD tell us something...i'm really tired about this policy...really guys...
Simply,tell YES it come,or NO,not come

What policy would that be?
They never laidout a policy for content updates other than that we would get monthly updates untill march. So basicaly the april and may content was a bonus.

But maybe I missed something.

You did. The "ME Generation GT: Sport Exclusive DLC Content". Didn't you see that entitlement card in stores? Can't get that one online.

I think that The lack of a car update is because PD is focusing on FIA championship, and no problem with that, at the end they did not promise a June update
I hope not. I consider the Sport mode like quick races (something cool but not the core of GT) and I'm just a casual player so I have no interest in FIA races.

I'm still waiting for a tweet from PD or Kaz but maybe I have to wait for long, looooooong time... Lol

Are we behind on “schedule”? When exactly were the previous tweets?

May's teaser tweet was on the 24th, released on the 30th.
March's teaser tweet was on the 24th as well and released on the 29th.
February's teaser tweet was also on the 24th, and released on the 28th.
January's teaser tweet was on the 20th and released on the 26th.

Don't know if this means anything in particular, however I am fearful we might not get an update because now they're focusing on the eSports FIA stuff.

Oh no :nervous:

I'm not expecting anything more to come this month and honestly, we've already got enough content to keep players busy in game. You really can't expect 12 cars and two tracks every month because that would exhaust PD. If there are things that you want that aren't in GT Sport at the moment, there's plenty of other games to choose from as well.

Well, there are many cars that would look great on GT Sport and yet PD seems to be taking their sweet time:

Mclaren P1? - Holy trinity of Supercars, anyone?
Porsche 918? - Holy trinity of Supercars, anyone?
Audi R8 V10 Plus (2015)? - Last R8 generation to be built. Potential to be a significant car.
Ford GT (2017) - Kaz likes the Ford GT. The new one is awesome. Makes sense that he'd add it.
Lexus LF-A - Bring it back from previous GT's please, it's a very underrated supercar.
Ferrari 488 GTB - The 458 is good but it's also almost 10 years old. Get up to date PD.

BMW I3,Clio R.S. 220 EDC Trophy '15,Clio R.S. 220 EDC Trophy '16>>>Mclaren P1,Porsche 918,Ford GT'17

Now seriously it's almost comical how pretty much every racing simulation game has those and the "real racing-simulator" doesn't, and I wouldn't be surprised if they would never be featured in GTSport.

After more than 50 free DLC cars, why shouldn't they relax?

In all honesty, considering what content virtually any other racing game comes with and how much extra tracks/cars have cost (from the likes of AC or PC2, to the horrid boarderline theft of 14 dollars/car in iRacing), even if GT doesn't come out with new content for 4 months there shouldn't be ANY REASON WHATSOEVER for complaing.

PD have pushed out a ton of free cars and a few tracks for that matter for free.

They have also have probably the most complete roster (no-real race cars like the Beetle GT3 excluding) of TC/GT4, GT3/GTE and LMP1/Group C cars on the market.

The only area, content-wise, where they are truly lacking is tracks - that is REAL tracks. Let's not forget PD has quite a few "original" tracks, and most of them are excellent, and if they were real-world tracks they would be among, if not the most spectacular ones. Dragon Trail, Laggo Magiore, Kyoto...these are EXCELLENT for racing, some better than many real-world one.

While I'd love to see more Gr4 cars like the KTM X-BOW GT4, McLaren 570 GT4, Alpine A110 GT4, and Gr 3 cars like the new Nissan GTR GT3 and the newer 488 GT3 Ferrari, I think we can give PD a break and let them come up with such content later. I'd rather the next content-including update include more very-relevant real world tracks such as Spa, Fuji, Barcelona or Silverstone.

But most importantly, I prefer they improve the game as a whole and the tire model in particular and offer these type of features in the next few updates.

Complaints regarding certain areas of physics (at very low speed), lack of tire temperature (which in most games boils down to "they're not at 100% grip for 3-4 minutes and then as long as the race goes on and you push the care they're at optimum grip - just like GTS's tires are from the get-go"), and not-so-great (yet) penalty systems should be overridden by the amount of post-release FREE content we got, and the fact that at least on Consoles, GTS has by far the best online experience possible.
