It's not that they shouldn't relax. I'm saying that there are questionable choices in the content that was already given to us, at least in my opinion.

Also, it's worth noting that, with regards to PD and content delivery, 'relax' is a very dangerous word. PD can certainly 'relax' in their content delivery for quite long periods of time. I'm not saying they're about to do that now, but you can never put it past them.

Not gonna defend PD at all here; they brought that reputation to themselves. But tbh I think PD is trying to break out of that stigma they've been carrying with all these monthly updates. PD's employees are still human in the end, I think they need a well-deserved break. And who knows, we might still even have more updates to come, just not monthly anymore, given what I said
 
Could this be a hint to a potential update this month or in a future update?

Polyphony also own the track rights for it to be in a game. But I doubt it's coming just sponsorship things.

That was my point - I doubt an instagram post is any more of a hint than the sponsorship or the years of info of track rights, which have been going on for years.
 
I just got a maintenance notice when starting the game. Maintenance from about 30 minutes ago to an hour and a half from now tomorrow.

That Is The usual maintenance from every thursday or it mentioned an update following?

Considering PD also went through the process of gaining exclusive rights for the stage in a video game, it's more than logical to assume it will be included in either this or a future GT game. They are probably already scanning it or are at some point in the process of digitizing it. Only question is if and how it will be incorporated in GTS. It would be the first "stage" type track in the game, with no laps, which would be cool, but I hope they work some more on the rally car physics, as right now, besides the fact that they have a plethora of "Group B" rally cars which are very well made, not much has been going on in utilizing them.

Yes, but this post specifically is no more of an indicator that it's about to release than any other post or partnership announcement in the past.

That's interesting, as I don't think any maintenance periods have taken place on a Wednesday this month. Whether this suggests an update we just don't know - however it looks unlikely.

All the maintenances with updates included stated that there will be an update following the maintenance, previously. Therefore, there is no indication here of an update tomorrow.

Of course, there could still be update separately after this, on Thursday or Friday.
 
Sounds to me, the maintenance is their time to prep before releasing the next update at the end of the week.

Pikes peak... maybe, the track is a point to point race, so it would perhaps behave differently to a closed circuit, therefore would likely need closer attention.

If there is an update and its a huge size (or if any size), it will likely arrive Friday/Saturday.

Maybe they could just put a massive portal at the finish line and teleport cars back to the start, that’s my guess anyway.
 
Normally you get the maintenance notice first then a further notice confirming that there will be a game update after the maintenance. The latter has not happened yet.

Haha, I was thinking the same thing but we know they'd never do something that insane. Even something more simple like making a u-turn at the top of the track would be too out of the box for PD despite being more anchored in reality.
 
Wednesday is the usual maintenance day unless I have been asleep since the game's launch.

It's normal for that to appear before the normal maintenance period, if we see any news posts in game then maybe a DLC as well
but I suspect just normal service after the maintenance.
