We can forget weather conditions. IMO if we get it at a certain point, it won't be groundbreaking like Driveclub. Kaz already said it will be static.

A 'theory' would have ample amounts of evidence to support it. This is just wild speculation/borderline wishlisting.

Many of you may not agree but I think it has something to do with fixing the fixes from last weeks update. EG. Audi R8 4.2 - had visual glitch of steering wheel not being in the car and was offset and the model was glitching in cockpit view. Now whilst PD fixed the steering wheel glitch now there is a new glitch where the car appears to have VANTA black paint on the car and the only painted surface is bonnet unless you use standard paint which you purchased or obtained the car in. It only appeared after last weeks fix so it might be the case of fixing little issues like these. that is my speculation anyways. it might be the case of that the servers just need a restart and somebody to dust them off

Dropping an update during the FIA championship isn't a great idea. Might implement new bugs or change certain vehicles bop etc best to wait til after to drop an update.

Tired despite an update every month for the last six to eight months plus big fixes and a preview of new cars every single time?

People need to stop being five year olds throwing toys out of the pram.

I can agree with the lack of communication. PD is the worst when it comes to that.
But content? We got free stuff EVERY month! Give them a break. No other developer offers this stuff on a regular basis.

What update? What patch? Please find me the press release for any such notification.
This is the problem with stupid threads like this one. Everyone has become so "entitled" and so expectant of things that they now presume a standard weekly maintenance notice automatically means they will get an update featuring what ever race track is currently host to a big event, endless cars and bug fixes, new tyre physics and weather and when they don't they have a hissy fit.
Maintenance is exactly that. NOT an update.

It is fair that they might not add monthly update because of the championship.

Which means they have more time to implement sth more in the update. I might as well call it a season update, but who knows? Maybe they put what they got in June and do the other at the end of the month as usual.

I always find it kinda weird that some gamers desperately crave, yearn and lose their minds over upcoming content, the content then comes, people enjoy or moan about it and then seemingly forget it ever happened after a week or two so they can get back to craving what comes next.

Anyway, the next content will be more cars including the Mazda 787B...

Don't expect anything and you will never be disappointed.
It is sad to see we won't be getting an update though and I'm not taking about content. While it has been nice getting new content every month the fact remains GTS is still broken in different areas of the game that need fixing.

I don't care if the FIA is going on or not it still not a good enough of an excuse to leave parts of this game broken, bugged, or flawed. Some of these issues have been in the game for months now and need to be addressed.

The update 1.1 bringed the GT Mode, Personally I tought the 1.2 will bring something big like the weather ... but i don’t think they make attention to the numbers anymore, so we can’t know what gonna be next update.

But I hope it’s gonna be the weather (static or not)!!

You'll know about the weather element when it is ready, and by that I mean after it has been perfected and tested to the nth degree (months and months of work) Implementing weather will easily be the most difficult thing to implement in the game post-release, I expect it will come to maybe 1-3 tracks first, then go through extensive further testing and then you might see it come to others. The weather build has the proximity, quite easily, to break the game so I don't expect PD will be teasing this further until they know it is bombproof. Ideally, it would have been there at launch, that would be easier I imagine but time obviously did not allow.

It's the kinda thing that, personally, I would not be surprised if it never comes, particularly across all tracks and modes.

Would be happy to forgo weather for some proper tracks, Road America, Road Atlanta, Oulton park, Imola, RB Ring Austria, Spa ....... so much there that would improve SPORT mode immeasurably.
