Would be happy to forgo weather for some proper tracks, Road America, Road Atlanta, Oulton park, Imola, RB Ring Austria, Spa ....... so much there that would improve SPORT mode immeasurably.

Lobby racing for starters.

1. Still the problem of other not see people on the track is still a huge problem.

2. Turning the all ghosting option off since the last big update now has cars ghosting off and on like a light switch. You don't know when or where it will happen or how long it will last when they shouldn't be doing it at all.

3. The fastest first option is still broken

We still have people getting corrupt data and losing everything for no reason. Mostly after a update.

We still have a broken penalty system that 95% of the players will agree needs fixed and what does work is never consistent.

Still getting the whole lobby booted out of sport mode and FIA races

People have wheel issues.

And the list goes on and while some might say they are just small flaws in the game but when there are enough of them that keep adding up that it becomes a big deal.
Some are new issues and others have been around for awhile now.

I would rather see them addressing and fixing these issues before adding any new content into this game.

An update for Gran Turismo Sport has been released. The following is a list of the main features introduced:

Main Features Implemented
1. Top Screen
　- A video digest of the "Gran Turismo World Tour" will now play after starting up the game;
　- A slideshow of the "Gran Turismo World Tour" has been added. Pressing the triangle button will take you to the Brand Central's "Channel" section of Gran Turismo.

2. Cars
　- The height of the cockpit view in the Nissan R92CP ’92 has been adjusted;
　- Fixed an issue wherein the graphics for the steering wheel were breaking down while driving the Audi R8 4.2 FSI R tronic ’07 from the cockpit view.

Other Improvements and Adjustments
- Various other issues have been addressed.

What update? What patch? Please find me the press release for any such notification.
This is the problem with stupid threads like this one. Everyone has become so "entitled" and so expectant of things that they now presume a standard weekly maintenance notice automatically means they will get an update featuring what ever race track is currently host to a big event, endless cars and bug fixes, new tyre physics and weather and when they don't they have a hissy fit.
Maintenance is exactly that. NOT an update.

I wasn't talking about yesterday's maintenance period. I was talking about june's update. Did I ask about all those things? I expect a circuit experience for Le Mans, some cars and that's it.

Even though the numbers (in the racing genre and not only for GT) have dropped they have sold around 3.5 million copies, that is a good number for any AAA game

My hunch is that they're moving to an update cycle of every other month, aside from one-off car updates they have promotional agreements for.

Well, there are still 3 days left in this month... so you’ll never know, but I feel it’s not going to happen.

I know updates are never only about adding content, but also include bugfixes, those usually somehow almost always cause new bugs to show their ugly faces... So I can understand that they wouldn’t want to mess with the game now during the first FIA season (at least not add more bugs). Technically just content shouldn’t cause bugs, so there’s no reason they couldn’t just do that...? Although adding race cars usually calls for bop adjustments, so a street car only update could be possible...
 
No, there won't be an update this month. I think PD wanted to sort out the FIA Online Championships rather than implementing new content. Hopefully we will get something at the start of next month, I don't want to wait another month to get more content. But chances are this won't happen.

You cannot expect a company to say 'there isn't an update this month' when they never mentioned there would be. It is YOUR FAULT for assuming so highly that there would definitely be an update. They shouldn't have to apologise for your poor assumptions when no information about a 'June Update' was ever mentioned.

Because of the fia championship, they could move the release date for updates to the beginning of the month, although given the fact that they did not have enough time to add a night time to le mans 24, most likely we will now receive content updates less often ( although who knows )

Is there a way to pin this to literally every single speculation thread? Those threads themselves are okay, but demanding/assuming there will actually be an update isn't

Just remember there are more silent companies than PD when it comes to communication or drip teasing new content for a certain game *cough* Rockstar *cough*, PD are much better at comms than Rockstar have been in recent times, at least I know roughly what to expect when it comes
to GT Sport.
