Elgato Game Capture HD. Cost me £125 on Amazon. :lol:

Edit: Having trouble replicating your Miura, Praiano. I end up with 388bhp and 527PP instead of 380 and 525. :confused: Are you sure you used Engine Stage 3?

Perhaps an oil change thing? Maybe let Bob have it for a bit and see if it comes into line.

Please do it with any engine you can, i can't do this myself. No internet this week end. I'm in a cyber cafe right now.
Gear individual ratios will not match but you can do 0%-25%-50%-75%-100%

I'd ask for feedback on my driving as well, but since I haz no recording equipment, it's quite hard. :lol:

2:09 isn't that bad for a normal car, right? By normal, I mean "not the OP'd NSX/Evora/M3 type" cars. :p

Hi everyone,


I have been keeping a close eye on this thread, I love the idea and personally I enjoy (and usually do) drive with no assists. I also add in the H-shifter as well when I can. I am glad that a thread like this has finally come to life.

I would have liked to be a tester as part of the event but unfortunately I do not have enough time to take part.

I do look forward to the posted tunes! (hint hint ;) )

I been messing with the various M3's and I had to go with the V8, the CSL will dog it if limits are off but with the PP restriction grasping firmly on the CSL's unmentionables, the pound for pound 15hp deficit was a lil too much and the roaring V8 gets brought to the Track.

Only add as follows however Get a oil change engine repair and chassis restore, hey get a wash or fresh paint while there :D*

Since I don't have access to my PS3, I couldn't remember which cars were shared since the last time I was online on GT5, if one of the cars is the 525PP Stagea, I would like to enter it again in this event - it was entered for FITT Wagon Shootout at Deep Forest. I will only change the BB slightly.

Oh, ok, I just signed in to GT5 My Home with my laptop :) The car still on share. my tune - no ABS version, please change the BB according to the the tune posted here and remember to disable ABS when testing :)

Hey guys am going to give this a go.. The car ive picked is the Honda Amuse S2000 STREET VERSON 04.. Current bhp is 434bhp an weight is 1118kg am not good with replays etc.. But i will come up with a time an tune for this car at 522pp.. I think this car will win :)

No Ruf, ACR, or any Tuner car company of the sort, but since I didn't realize the YB broke the rules, and I didn't catch it before deadline, not much choice but to allow the Ruf cars. I apologize if this upsets people, this is more for experience then anything.

Deadline has expired though, no more Tunes allowed, now we need test drivers :D
 
The M3 GTR is clean 2:08.XXX lap after lap, bad laps in 2:09.XXX with my weekend warrior driving lol. I went for a Race Day style setup over a Qualifier, even took her to the Races to see if I get nice balance tire wear.
 
I believe Ruf is actually considered a manufacturer because of how different their cars are from stock. Sort of like Tesla, Hennessey or any of the other billion variants of the Elise/Exige.

I was under the assumption this was the case too, it's always been this way in shootouts of old.
 
Any of the Honda S2000's allowed aslong their not amuse, this should be fine will have a look at the other Honda's :)
 
Yeah, Ruf is arguable, however Ruf does not build cars ground up and in my eyes a Tuner Brand. They are allowed as I mentioned im glad that falls in the norm despite my opinion lol.

Friendly reminder : "Always modulate the brakes even in the case of lock ups."

This is a good example of what happens to GT driver who is not familiar with ABS-less car, the Z34 used for GT Academy :)



The instructor yelled " brakes, brakes, brakes" --- lock ups and the driver kept mashing the brakes - lock ups all the way .... bad driving :(

The track cam shows how a continuous lock up is a bad thing to have - basics - brake modulation.
