Same thing happens literally every time Roger Waters tours in the US.
Disgruntled conservative Floyd fans must think the song is called "Comfortably Dumb".

What kind of machine did those people think they were raging against?
What's the bet that a fair amount of people complaining about Rage Against Machine, don't even listen to them? Outrage purely for the sake of it.

They will almost certainly have heard one track, selectively picked a few lines from it, mainly 'killing in the name of' and '**** you I won't do what you tell me' and assumed it supports their world view without picking up on the actual meaning of the song.

It's mind-numbing that a song that is so blatantly about the blind-support given to the police (the pre-chorus) when they murder people (chorus & refrain) and the number of white supremacists with the police (verse), and how people should fight back against that narrative (outro), has so many people on the right confused. That's without the idiot dude-bros who love it because it's got rude words in it, then again these are same groups of people that missed the message in Nirvana's 'In Bloom' (and to a degree Teen Spirit), a diss track specifically designed to get the people they didn't want as fans singing along to a track condemning themselves.

[Refrain]
Killing in the name of
Killing in the name of

[Pre-Chorus]
Now you do what they told ya
Now you do what they told ya
Now you do what they told ya
Now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
But now you do what they told ya!
Well, now you do what they told ya

[Chorus]
Those who died are justified
For wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
You justify those that died
By wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
Those who died are justified
For wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
You justify those that died
By wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites

[Verse]
Some of those that work forces
Are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces
Are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces
Are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces
Are the same that burn crosses
Uh!

[Refrain]
Killing in the name of
Killing in the name of

[Pre-Chorus]
Now you do what they told ya
Now you do what they told ya
Now you do what they told ya
Now you do what they told ya
And now you do what they told ya
(Now you're under control) And now you do what they told ya
(Now you're under control) And now you do what they told ya
(Now you're under control) And now you do what they told ya
(Now you're under control) And now you do what they told ya
(Now you're under control) And now you do what they told ya
(Now you're under control) And now you do what they told ya
(Now you're under control) And now you do what they told ya

[Chorus]
Those who died are justified
For wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
You justify those that died
By wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
Those who died are justified
For wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
You justify those that died
By wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
Come on!

[Guitar Solo]
Ugh!
Yeah!
Come on!
Ugh!

[Outro]
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
**** you, I won't do what you tell me
Mother****er!
Ugh!

Even though I have a few disagreements with him on policy, I absolutely love John Fetterman. Truly a genuine, caring man who is completely unfiltered and passionate for what he believes in. He’s completely defied how Democrats are “supposed to” run in swing states and attract rural and blue collar voters, stumping the strategists. It would be great if more democratic candidates took after his approach.

How do you feel about Raphael Warnock?

I was at a pool recently with my kids. The number of absolutely morbidly obese people, even in Colorado (which is the 4th most fit state), is absurd.

Also, not sure if anyone remembers, but there was a pandemic.

Pandemics affect the whole world though. They're not US-specific.

The US had a particularly bad time with it. I'd imagine that life expectancy took a dip in other countries as well.

Edit:

Expect life expectancy in the US to go further down with the banning of abortion in many states.
