Disgruntled conservative Floyd fans must think the song is called "Comfortably Dumb".Same thing happens literally every time Roger Waters tours in the US.

"But I like being part of the machine!"What kind of machine did those people think they were raging against?

What's the bet that a fair amount of people complaining about Rage Against Machine, don't even listen to them? Outrage purely for the sake of it.What kind of machine did those people think they were raging against?
They will almost certainly have heard one track, selectively picked a few lines from it, mainly 'killing in the name of' and '**** you I won't do what you tell me' and assumed it supports their world view without picking up on the actual meaning of the song. What's the bet that a fair amount of people complaining about Rage Against Machine, don't even listen to them? 120 metric minutes. When he says 3 hours before bedtime, I think that's about 120 minutes, right?
Unit conversions are hard!
Pretty much sums up the US right-wings current moral panic

I mean...Brad's kind of dreamy.
Even though I have a few disagreements with him on policy, I absolutely love John Fetterman. Truly a genuine, caring man who is completely unfiltered and passionate for what he believes in. He’s completely defied how Democrats are “supposed to” run in swing states and attract rural and blue collar voters, stumping the strategists. It would be great if more democratic candidates took after his approach.

Honestly, the same can be said. I would be happy if either Fetterman or Warnock ran in 2024. They’re not Bernie, for sure, but definitely strong progressive choices with one heck of a lot more fight and inspiration than Biden. How do you feel about Raphael Warnock?

Why is life expectancy in the US lower than in other rich countries?
Americans have a lower life expectancy than people in other rich countries despite paying much more for healthcare. What factors may explain this?ourworldindata.org
Pandemics affect the whole world though. They're not US-specific.I was at a pool recently with my kids. The number of absolutely morbidly obese people, even in Colorado (which is the 4th most fit state), is absurd.
Also, not sure if anyone remembers, but there was a pandemic.
The US had a particularly bad time with it. I'd imagine that life expectancy took a dip in other countries as well.Pandemics affect the whole world though. They're not US-specific.
