I get what you’re saying but what happens when you decide to race at night?

I kinda agree with the mismatch wheels, but at that point, we’re losing the plot. I get it, you want a touring car game sooo bad but you have to remember GT has to be a touring car game, rally game, F1 game, LMP game, a casual racing game AND an encyclopedia. Sacrifices gotta be made.
What happens when you decide to race at night with a F3500? Does it sprout some headlights because reasons?

There's also the F1 cars and Super Formulas in the game.

I did drive a F3500-B at night on LeMans once, I wouldn't recommend it.
Yep lots of cars to choose from. Haha. I mentioned the 2J because I took it to some race that got dark unknowingly and found out, or realized, I can’t see. Managed to still win it somehow.

It would be nice at the very least to add dirt and brake dust to rims and headlights. Idk I see lots of livery perks by letting us put lettering on all tires, headlight decals and rim decals.

You realize that’s my point, right? Imagine not switching cars but having to back all the way out and change your livery because you didn’t realize it was a night race because aesthetics.

It could be solved if they gave us more options to sort our cars. “No headlights” folder. But it would be easy enough to either remember or yeah, back out. I didn’t back out with my 2J. I should have known better but still made it through. And it ended up being a more memorable race than most of my other races because of that. Haha

I think it boils down to, those who want to put decals on their headlights or black em out, can. Those who think it’s a stupid idea don’t have to. I’ll never put a wing on some cars yet others do. I think the wing looks horrendous on some of the cars so I choose not too. There’s also cars in the game I despise and will never buy. But I’d still like to put some black X’s on some of my older cars for aesthetics… we hardly race night anyway.

And on that note, our last race session it went a bit dark and we were having troubles seeing even with cars that had headlights haha. It’s not the end of the world.

I honestly don't see that as a big deal. I don't know why you think so.

Hardly an issue since they can just override any changes to headlamps by the user for night races by 'forcing' lights to work just as they do with the official number boards when in certain races, which simply take prescidence the livery design underneath.

Does anybody feel the game lacks of body parts?
If I'm not mistasen Forza has a better selection of widebody kits, wings and parts to customize your car.

It’s more like the way they handle widebody. The GP-Tuned have two type of over fenders. If all cars had similar options it’d be better than just slight massaging of fenders.
The D-Tuned would be a nice wide option to add to the AE86 overfenders.

Not having a free view of cars' interiors. The full car is modelled and you can see bits of it from a certain angle for a few seconds in the garage view.
Totally agree. And the interiors are certainly re-created in extraordinary detail.

Not to be "that person", but here's where PSVR2 shines. One can "sit in" any of these cars, in a number of locations, and simply look around, and it is beyond amazing. The two-dimensional video version below doesn't do the 3D (virtual) reality justice. I find myself reaching out to touch things.

This is my number 1 wish for the game outside of gameplay things. I thought it was such a shame that there's no gallery mode, but then realised it's quite likely a PR move from Sony in order to push PSVR2.

The prices of some of the legendary cars.
The AI not using custom liveries outside of custom races with cars you own.

Which leaves me deciding between an affordable legendary car or buying a bunch of used cars and 'styles' for custom races.

Having to put the right tyre compound each time I enter TT mode if it is not set while in the garage.
This reminds me of one I’ve already listed. Having to get into a car to see what tyre compound is currently on it. How hard is it to just list, cs, ss or rs.

This gets me every time!

The roulette wheel, for a number of reasons, is so pointless.

  • You never get 1 and 2-star roulettes
  • 3 stars are invariably rubbish, or very low value
  • 4 stars are the most common and will often just give you some part you don't want
  • 5 stars are really hit and miss. If it's a 5, how can it offer such low potential prizes?
  • 6 stars are more commonly ok and occasionally worth it
  • Specific 6-star car rewards should only offer actual cars, not cash; otherwise, what's the point of the distinction
My point is not so much about the rewards, it's more the mechanic, it's so tired, lacking in compelling rewards, and clearly is pre-ordained

It is because once you reach a certain collector level, the % chance of getting 1 or 2* is 0 (fortunately, 3* are already rubbish enough), sadly tickets stats stop improving after CL 20... 😖 why ???

6* car offer only cars, you are probably mixing memories.

I'm sure I've had a 6 star car, one that gave me a chunk of boullion instead, I could be mistaken, I am old afterall 😂😂

An you forgot to mention the specific 6 stars "parts" ticket. What bad a joke.

I’m sure I’ve had that too but I see somebody said 6 star parts tickets. The overall point is in 3 years, I think I’ve maybe got a million about 5 times. Not bad but not great for having like 2500hrs into the game. I still don’t have all the cars and have lost the ambition to even get the last few legendary cars. Forget getting doubles of say the 330 P4 etc.

I get pretty much zero satisfaction from collecting cars. I want the cars to paint and race. I don’t care to acquire all of the cars, I wish that wasn’t the name of the game, I find it annoying it takes so long and so much time racing specific races to get what you want/need. The grind is brutal.

I believe that exists in VR. I need someone to confirm this

Yes, there are 6 star car tickets, but they are rare. I've gotten the Ferrari 330 from one of them, One of the GR1 cars from another, and one of the Vision from a third. That's all I can remember getting in the nearly 4 years since launch.

I kinda just ignore the roulette prizes when I play...got a bunch I never redeemed. When I did redeem them they were all jokes prizes...wish I could turn that feature off

It certainly does. Example follows...

this is some of the highs that sells this game to me despite its lows. I simply can't get tired of inspecting cars in the showroom, specially models with my liveries on, it's so gratifying and the sense of something you designed in a game with a bunch of svg files "coming to life" before your eyes, is trully something else.

Said it before, being able to make liveries give the cars that personal touch that makes it feel a little less like a video game. Not to mention just designing them has the same effect as colouring a colouring book. It’s relaxing.
