I apologize for this, akira, but until you get this mess sorted out I'm going to have to add you to my ignore list.

Really though, it only makes sense that it would eventually fall off. With the amount of fan-fiction you read it was only a matter of time before something passed it. And anywhere in the top 10 is still very respectable.

I'm more worried because of the specific story that did it rather than the fact that it has happened.

Although for the OitC continuation, the new chapter barely got any attention at all.

I'll agree that from what I've seen, LG and Samsung are superior to Sharp (not sure about Sony or Toshiba though), and aren't Hitachi LCD TVs supposed to be some of the best on sale? I remember hearing that they were supposedly one of the best TV brands a few years back.

Ummm. Panasonic > Samsung > LG > Toshiba > Sony > Sharp > Hitachi > ten-a-penny Chinese and Taiwanese brands.

Nah, nothing beats the original Cupcakes, it was as original as the MLP concept.



And Nick Really does give some depth to his characters, you cant find that sort of thing anywhere else, well maybe a little bit with BronyCray's works, but not as intense. That Pinkie Pie story when she suffers from schizophrenia symptoms was also good and provide some deepness to the character, such a shame that it ended that way, it actually had the same potential of Heart of Gold, Feathers of Steel. "Skies of Deception"

"Well... I guess this is my home, for now." Star Fighter thought to himself, tightening the last rope on the tent. He had settled in a hilly field far away from the nearby villages. It was already midnight by the time he finished assembling his camp. The rocky mountains surrounding the field he had set up camp in were brightly lit in the light of Luna’s moon. It was a magical place, without a tree in sight. The star-strewn sky was fully unveiled to the lonely onlooker.

"Okay, the race is tomorrow.” Star Fighter thought to himself as he examined his handiwork. “I just need to set this alarm clock and go to sleep... Hopefully the nightmares won't haunt me tonight."

Just as Star Fighter was reaching for the tent's door, something caught his attention. He thought he saw a flash of in the night sky. He turned his gaze back to the stars soon another flash appeared, brighter and larger than before. It left a white streak in the sky as it traveled across it. Soon after the second, another one flared near the same location. Then another glimmering corona appeared, and another; each brighter and more beautiful than the last.

"...Oh wow... A meteor shower!” Star Fighter thought to himself, his spirits rising. “I’ve never seen one with my own eyes before..."

Star Fighter turned away from his tent, finding a comfortable spot to sit on the ground to wait for more meteors to appear. His patience was soon rewarded. One by one, flashes of every size imaginable started to appear above him. Some glowed orange as if they were the fire of the sun itself; while others burned the purest white. Before long, it seemed like all the stars in the sky were falling to the ground. Star Fighter’s eyes widened at the sight, shining with tears of happiness. The beauty of the event was simply breathtaking.

“I... I haven’t seen anything like this. This is so... beautiful! ” He spread his wings, rising to his hooves as though he was pulled by the stars themselves. "Oh how I want to change..."

A thought formed on his mind as he looked at the celestial event before him. A foal’s thought. “No, this is stupid, I don't believe in falling star wishes...” He tried to tell himself.

Star Fighter looked around him before crying out at the sky. “I wish I could change. I want to be with my friends again! Enjoying moments like this, together! I don't want to live alone... I don't want these nightmares anymore!”

Tears began to bead together at the edges of his eyes. “I just want a normal life...”
After taking a moment to compose himself, he wiped away the tears, chuckling at his own foolish dreams. “I can't believe I made a wish on a star like this. I’m not a little colt anymore. I must be getting desperate...”

Star Fighter sat back down on the grass, continuing to watch the sky. The intoxicating smell of the fields conspired with the soft glow of the meteor shower, and soon Star Fighter found his lids growing heavy. The colt quickly fell asleep amongst the grass and flowers around him.







“Rise and shine, Star Fighter, rise and shine...” A voice rang out in Star Fighter’s mind. “It's time... Time to smell the ashes!”

“What!? Where?” Star Fighter woke up with a start, shaking his head in confusion trying to find the source of the mysterious voice. “What the... It’s morning already!? “

The sky was now gloomy, the beauty of the meteor shower having left the night sky with Luna’s moon. Celestia’s sun was now presiding over the sky as overcast clouds slowly listed across the sky above him. Star Fighter dashed into his tent, desperately needing to know the time. When he finally found his alarm clock, his heart sunk as he noted the time.

“Oh, fudge! I forgot to set the alarm clock! I'm late!” He bolted out of the tent, time once again against him. “No time to eat breakfast! I must hurry...”

Star Fighter stretched his wings, flapping them to warm up the stiff muscles. He pushed himself into the air, beginning the journey towards his urgent destination.

I see a lot of potential in that story, and I agree ED is full of idiots who doesn't appreciate good things.

Remember "A blue dove for the princess" or the "Demon of Razgriz" tale, you can arrange this story like one of those tales, since you support it with images it could make a really nice book, like a well illustrated PDF organised like a book, that might work nicely. It could divert from "common story", that is why I think is a good idea.

And I clearly see that's the real Ace here =)

I actually want to use "Shattered Skies" as a title if I ever write a fanfic, there is something about that title that makes it special, I don't know why.
