Actually, that's not saying enough, because I don't like Rarity very much, anymore.

Also, I'm not sure she actually learned anything. She stopped just short of outright abandoning her friends, and then Fancy Pants showed up to make everything better. So what it's saying is, you can treat your friends like 🤬 as long as you make other friends in high places who can eventually fix your friendship for you.

Putting aside the whole "I don't like Rarity anymore" thing, it was a really good episode. And I still might get over this and eventually like Rarity again anyway.

And Hipster Rarity is best Rarity. I really like her mane.

That's what they call female unknowns (as in, a female that is brought in unconscious and without any form of ID to a hospital). An unknown dude is 'John Doe'.


It's also the name the TF2 Soldier goes by (Jane Doe, not John ).

I was actually thinking that she's gonna become a meme, considering how she spent all her screen time just posing for no one. I can already picture her being drawn draped over random things.

Hm. I honestly don't see what the problem was with Rarity. She wasn't fantastically shown up in front of everyone Sonic Rainboom style; and she was acting kind of like a bitch throughout, but she still seemed to come to her senses at the end.

I'm probably over reacting, but I still don't feel like she learned anything. Because despite all she did, everything just worked itself out.

And like I said, I might get over it. And that's turning into probably. Maybe rewatching the episode later would help.

I actually did expect the whole charade to blow up in her face spectacularly, but you gotta give credit where credit is due, Rarity can certainly handle her plans crumbling all around her a lot more graciously than certain other lavender unicorns...

I liked the episode, though, what with Twi's unsafety dance, Rare's song (DAT SINGING VA), and Poirot and his beard and moustache. (Twenty bucks says Bluebood's gonna be riding it in fanfics to come.)
