Right, so I just listened to Sweet Child O Mine again, and I think might go with that for the PMV, brcause Vegas crashes everytime I load the project with Paradise city.

Think of it as being like TBoTS with the Comedy/Drama split being closer to 50/50 rather than the 75/25 split TBoTS usually carries (but the pendulum occasionally swings deeper into Comedy, like it did with the most recent chapter), and a DashiePie secondary ship instead of AppleDash (Let me just say that it is getting damn hard to determine which one of those two I prefer. Twixie Pairing is obviously best Pairing, but between AppleDash and DashiePie I'm at a loss post-The Party Never Ended). And Pinkie Pie has a bigger role in this than she does in TBoTS, so this story leans more heavily on the Fourth Wall.





It also has a really nice origin story for Trixie.

Damn,I mean damn,it shares plenty of elements that I was using,anyway,it doesn't take itself too serious(its shipping after all),So I will just stick to what I got thus far.

If you told me I'd be writing a depressing story about a one episode character that spans four chapters, I would also have laughed.

Also if you haven't read it, I reccomend The Ballad of Twilight Sparkle. Writer's a comic genius, it's one of the few fanfics that makes me genuinely laugh out loud every chapter.

Also of Mares and Magic is a purty good fic I've been tracking. The latest chapter moved way too fast IMO, it was a good, slow buildup, then suddenly relationships everywhere.

I think part of the problem is that he made the chapter too long. Had he ended it right before the party started it would have been easier to take everything in.










You know, TrixieShy isn't actually as weird as I thought it would be. But I swear if this story ends up becoming anything like Spark did, I'll have to murder someone.

I haven't read the TrixieShy one. Only reading my few shipping series' I keep up with until my own fanfiction is completed. Seeing as I'm transitioning from sad to happy/shipping, I don't want to steal from others, even subconsciously.

Also I was working late at the this function today, and the head waiter tells us all we have "to wrap up hte main course as quickly as possible." So I discovered that humming that certain song while clearing dishes actually makes it go a whole load faster. And noone recognised the song.

I've also pretty much finished the next chapter of my fanfic, it's signifcantly happier, and moving upwards. Still gotta shoot it through my proof readers, (I have three, they're like my little grammar elves!) Sadly, it'll only be two more after this. Well, one to complete the story arc, another to close off the story from any chance of a sequel or reboot. It's gunna kill me to do it, but I don't want to be one of those fanfic wriiters that continually revives a supposedly finished project.

I have a couple more ideas on the back burner. A potential Supernatural crossoer, though still on the fence with that. An Equilibrium crossover would be fun. A continuation of my Inmate 402 character as a free mare, and maybe a warfic. So far my attempts at war writing have sucked, so it'll be a fun challenge.

Out of curiosity, what's everyone's favourite episode then, or is that one buried 200 paegs back?

My favorite episode is... Don't really have a single favorite. I like Sonic Rainboom, Dragonshy's good, Party of One is a favorite, and The Best Night Ever never fails to make me laugh at their delusions of adequacy.

Spark? Is it...bad, or just, grimdark style horrific?

Spark is a fun, well-written TwiLuna story that actually has some cool action scenes interspersed into it (like Fluttershy leading an army of animals from Everfree into battle). Luna is suffering from some kind of sickness, and Celestia asks Twilight for help because Celestia cannot divide her time between running the kingdom and helping Luna (and Twilight basically runs herself to death trying to figure out what is causing it). All told, though, it ultimately ends on a beautifully happy note.





Then Avery Strange wrote an Epilogue for it. The regular story ended with Twilight's actions over the course of the story ultimately turning her into an Alicorn like Luna and Celestia. The Epilogue takes that to the logical, incomparably depressing conclusion.

War fanfic,interesting,Those fanfics are not too common,and the ones that I have read thus far are actually quite interesting(specially one that involved Luna as the leader of some sort of resistance,I can't remember the name exactly,but its was quite good).

(I choose a pretty busy week to stop reading fanfics)

It's The Starts Above Know,is not a war story(well its a bit,actually is about resistance which is some sort of smaller conflict that does not qualify as war),but its actually quite interesting.

Luckily the rain covered up my tears because every time I heard a lightning strike all I could think about was 🤬 Severing.

I can say that the one thing I did not expect was for Rarity and Trixie to hit it off so quickly. Avery Strange, you've subverted my expectations once again.



Rarity seems to be the only one left who still may be on a warpath in TBoTS, and I made it a point when I wrote her reactions with Trixie to make her the one that would be hardest for Trixie to win back over. And then Avery Strange makes Rarity quip about Trixie's hair and has Trixie respond with a joke about Applejack and they are suddenly buddy-buddy. And it works.

Did you ever read Reconnection? If not I'm not particularly surprised that Severing is still bothering you.

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you then? Because from what I can tell, if Toro likes a fanfic it is well written so you must have some skills and still be too young to write.

Yes. One set will be at 2PM 3PM, and the other one will be at 6PM (unless anyone has a problem with that).



And dammit, read Reconnection. And then read Breaking The Circle. Combined, they'll make you feel much better about Severing.

His is the one that I keep freaking out about how sad it is every time it updates. The curse of feeling compelled to read everything with Trixie in it is that it forces me to deal with all interpretations of her character, from Super Bitch to The Great and Giggling Trixie and everything in between.
