Warm and sunny equals snow melting. 👎

It's cooling off now it looks like. Needs more snow though. This winter has been hella dry.

Yeah, I'm a complete weather emo for hating the sun.

Damn. You would hate it here then even in winter. :p 35C and dry, 37 tomorrow (98F) and playing cricket.

 I wouldn't be able to function in that... And I've verified this.

I'm apparently getting very used to the cloudy and snowy weather here. I saw stars and the moon last night and felt like I was on a different planet. My friend showed me pictures of home (which have grass in them) and I don't believe they're real.

My driveway this morning. Another 30 cm of snow during the night and -14 C

We've had snow overnight in England too, but probably only 10 cm. Have fun digging your car out :p

Looking at 5-7" today, there is at least 3-4" on the ground already. It's not cold though, about 30 with light wind which means the snow is wet and heavy. Round two is coming Wednesday with 1-3" predicted right now.

This winter hasnÂ’t been filled with any epic type of blizzards but it has snowed in little amounts with frequencies that have resulted in my north facing front yard being snow covered since last November. Due to this fact I will retract these two posts from the snow shoveling thread of a few years ago.

Forget all that junkÂ…ItÂ’s all going out in the street so the sun can take it away. :grumpy:

Last week I experienced a day of 90% humidity  and temperatures in the high 30s of degrees Celsius.:scared::nervous: It was the most uncomfortable weather I have ever experienced, primarily due to the humidity.

It's -16°F and we're slated to get up to 12°.

Normally I'd be happy with a 26° temperature increase, but not so much when we're still 20° below freezing. It seems like the winters are getting longer. I'm now starting to understand why people go to Florida for the winter after they retire...

^^ We have had a mild summer this year, in the end we only got like 5 days over 40C.

It is now +0,2° C, the first time since 14 Dec with temperatures above freezing. 2,5 months of subzero comes to an end.

Tsunami Headed to East Coast of Australia.

I am only just out of the spots they mention in there for north Brisbane Australia. If I lived where I lived 2 years ago I could apparently get minor flooding. 8:15am which they mention in that article has been, I will try and find some later news.

We had a pretty nice snowstorm here the other night. Aside from the driving in it part. And then it was warm today so most of it all melted.

The weather up in the Tri-Cities this weekend was awesome, high 30's low 40's with some rain. First signs of spring poking through. It got pretty icy at night though.

Tri-Cities? I'm guessing you're not in Washington...

Apparently it's like that here. I wouldn't know since I had a lot of sleep to catch up on and didn't leave the apartment until pretty late.

The Tri-Cities around here refer to the Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland area. It's between the thumb and forefinger of the state.

Our summers are getting shorter i reckon, no days over 40C (or probably even over 35), i reckon the average temperature would be around 30C, which is cold for Febuary here. Even when it's been 35C the mornings have still been freezing, like jumper weather.

Rained all day yesterday, raining all day today. Just proves that our summers are tropical.

It was pretty nice here when the sun was up. Quite nice and warm. We even got some people together for some frisbee golf without coats without freezing.

TB
It seems like the winters are getting longer.

I feel like they're just starting later... Ours didn't start until like December.

Today SUCKED. All day it rained and continues to rain, I have to travel to, from and around school, all in the rain, I feel like death.

It's sunny and moderately warm and breezy here. I don't get what's exciting about the sun here. It tricks your body into thinking it's warmer that it's warmer than it is (or at least that it should be) and so the end result is that you feel colder and more disappointed than if it was cloudy and snowing.

Sun, sun, go away. Come again another day.

34 and sunny here, it's supposed to be in the 50's and raining by the weekend. I'm looking forward to that. Spring is almost here which mean I can get these damn winter tires off and wash my car so it stays clean for more then 20 minutes.
