It's sunny here, but it's actually quite cold because it's windy.

Was much nicer yesterday, though I got sunburn when I was out on my bike :( But it started raining just before I got home so at least I got cooled off.

I like how my local radio station has a "yesterdays weather" feature :D

Working our way up to the high 80's today with bright blue skies, not being able to play golf or hike is making this weather suck.

Ninety-two degrees with 22-34mph wind. At least the humidity is only 14%.

In the 50s, overcast with intermittent rain.

Wtf Seattle, it's almost June. It's suppose to be sunny!

It's hotter than Hell here in Houston. And it doesn't help that the humidity is off the charts. It really makes car spotting difficult.

It was 90 here today with no humidity and a light breeze. I was out on a boat all day drinking and baking in the sun, I'm hella tan now.

Wait, wut? Sun in Seattle? When did that happen?

There were supposed to be thunderstorms here all day. I woke up to blue skies. Strange. Now it's kinda lightly raining.

But last night there was some lightning in the clouds a ways off over the lake with no thunder. That was really cool.

Sun should happen for at least 2 weeks. It only rains the other 50 :)

Sun is out again right now and it's warm! Watch that turn into a nasty thunderstorm tonight.

I hope the sun stays away from Seattle... I'm headed back there on Friday. I miss the gray Seattle drizzle. Another hot summer would be awful.

So much for mowing the lawn tonight.

I went to the coast of mid Wales today, all forecasts said it would be 17° max and cloudy.

It was 22° with fairly clear skies  My arms are burned but only so far up before the elbow due to my rolled up shirt sleeves.

EDIT: Looking at the cloud map for the last 12 hours from where we went, we were in a narrow band of clear sky while all around us was clouded over! :D

I've been at Mid-Wales coast the last two days, left this morning. BURNING HOT.

So apparently I'm cursed or something. It's been raining here in Seattle for the last few weeks straight. Of course, the day after I get here it's warm and sunny.

It was somewhat rainy on Friday, so you got what you want.

And it's suppose to rain again on Monday. But I'm ready for the sun, it's been raining too much.

Last night was fun. and by that, I mean, I was cowering in the basement, quite nervous.

We had an absolutely nasty, long-lived tornado come through last night. Started around 8:00PM in Fulton County near a place called Yates City. It then decided to truck straight through Peoria County, to a place called Elmwood, where it did a great amount of damage to buildings and property, and then trucked straight through the north side of the Peoria Metro area. and then crossed the river. and came within about a mile north of our town, Washington, before finally roping out somewhere around 9:30. Damn thing was on the ground for better part of an hour and a half.

There were two MORE tornadoes in the Streator area, causing damage to that town as well.

YT links thus far.

Elmwood - appears to have been a fairly ropy, but long-lived tornado

Streator - a much more violent wedge at night, hard to see.

If you believe, please pray for the people of these towns. If you don't, lend your best wishes.

Tornados have always fascinated me for some reason. I've always been so interested in them, but I will keep the people affected in my prayers.

I left Kari's about 1am and it was raining so hard it made a 25 minute drive into a 45 minute one. I-75 and I-696 were flooded beyond belief and it was one of the scariest driving situation I've ever been in.

Feels cold today in New South Wales, Australia. But it's 16.7C. I know that's not cold for all you northern hemisphere people, but we're used to heat here.

Weather really, really sucks. Rain, rain, and more rain. It's not even very cold, so I can't really wear my jacket.

Dawg, this weather is epic. I haven't seen this stuff in over a year. Perfect temperature, perfect amount of darkness, perfect amount of wet.

Are we still talking about the weather?
_ _ _ _ _

It's been raining here for the last few days and it's supposed to continue for another few days. Highs have only been in the mid to upper 60's.

Crappy weather for Ribfest.

As I tried to state, my only gripe with the weather is the temperature, I can't wear my heavy jacket, so I have to settle with my infinitely less cool light jacket. The light is good, the rain, well, I prefer "flood warning" levels, but that's just me, and the humidity is about what I expect.

It is flippin' dark outside right now and we have wind gusts of 33 mph, going up to 55 later today. :scared:

Was raining all last week, Saturday was nice, now it's just hot and humid and supposed to rain more tonight and tomorrow.:yuck:

Thursday looks good though..............for now.

Typical weather person noncommittalness:

Currently - mostly sunny, 81°, 12mph wind, 41% humidity. Finally a nice day and of course it's one of the two days I have to work this week.

Mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm. Toasty.

Fun fact - The temperature difference between now and 6 months ago is 127°.

It's been warm and sunny for the past few days in Seattle, but it's overcast and slightly drizzly again.

I don't remember where I read this, but I think this past June was supposed to be one of the wettest and coldest Junes in Seattle.
