39F/4C Right now looking to go to 41/5 Today with Partly Cloudy skies.
Never got below freezing last night to a lot of melting went on, Once again its nice and brown outside for the end of Jan.

Today has to be the coldest day of the month. I had to stand outside at school for 40 minutes and my hands were going blue.

34 and cloudy right now
40s to end the week
then a slight chance for snow but not looking good

Yes, and in northern area of the Japanese archipelago there is a lot of snow now, however it seems that the cold wave is bigger and stronger here this year.

Gee I wouldn't mind going to see the snow, it's hard to imagine how cold it must be though for someone that's never been in a cold climate. :scared:

Right now it's snowing (actually, it's almost a snowstorm, when compared to what we're used to get), the temperature is around 0°C, but the perceived one is (according to the Air Force's meteorological department) -15°C.
The forecasts aren't looking good either: It should snow again on Friday, with temperature going down to -6°C (perceived down to -23°C!).
Let's hope the City Council is prepared, since the last time it wasn't...

Very foggy last night then dropping temps means you wake up to hoar frost. It's quite pretty outside. 👍

This morning was weird.

Looked out the window and not a bit of frost on the ground, nor any ice on my car; yet when I get outside its -3. Must have been close to zero humidity for that combination and the temperature was more than a shock to the system (as the lack of frost had me convinced it wasn't below zero).

Pretty cold recently, but very little snow or ice. According to my phone snow is forecast here Friday and Saturday...

I had that this morning as well. My dad gave me a lift to school, and the cars didn't need scraping or anything. Weird. Other than that, looks very cold over the coming days. Bloody Siberian winds..

Was quite humid today morning, and later during the day, a light sandstorm showed up.

I just had my car washed yesterday. :grumpy:

If it's going to be cold, might as well have some snow for insulation. Just cold and boring, but it's almost like we skipped winter and went right to spring from fall. Was about 50, 55 out today.

Today was just normal cold but sunny stuff, so I'll say all that happened yesterday:

It snowed. Took longer for some to arrive compared to last two years, although this one didn't settle obviously. I know it said snow was forecast for some day in the future this week though...

It's 60 here right now. First day of February. If this is global warming then I loooove me some global warming!

Snow is here at last!

I've been looking forward to this for a long while. I love the snow.

Its insane how warm it is this year in Michigan and most of the northern US. In fact records are being broken in many states for the warmest year. Compared to last year this is just insane.
Look at this pic from Feb 2nd 2011 and now Feb 2nd 2012.

A year ago on Feb. 2, 2011, hundreds of cars were stranded on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, Ill., seen at left. The same stretch is seen on Wednesday http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/46237704

Woah.

Well, here in england it has been hardly above freezing for the past week. But no bloody snow. Looks like we might get a coating sat-sun night though :).

Alex p.
I love how you English always say "bloody". lol

Bloody shut up. ;) (that doesn't really work does it?) It was so cold today, I don't think it got above 0°C all day, and it's meant to be colder tomorrow. :grumpy:

Bloody Germans always bloody commenting on how we're always bloody saying bloody all the bloody time.

And I'll stop. It's a mild profanity, so not totally AUP friendly.
