First frost of the winter. Not amused. At least things are getting slightly sunnier and warmer for the weekend - if you count going from 6°c to 9°c 'warmer'.

You've got to understand that frost and ice causes major consternation here. God help us if it snows, the locals will start sacrificing cows, hoarding tinned food, chopping up the furniture for firewood and shoving the old folks out into the night because 'they won't make it to spring'!

Low 70's for the past few days. Very low temps for the lows, so it's been cold. But, it's going to warm up tomorrow.

High 70's low 80's with the low increasing as well to much warmer temps so no more cold nights or mornings.

Most of the snow here is melting. We haven't had snow here in a little while. It looks like they are calling for snow on Thursday, but I have now idea how much snow that we will actually get.

Yeah, no kidding. Very reasonable for this time of the year. Not expecting it to last though, February is probably going to be friggin hot to make up for it.

Expecting a blizzard to come rolling in starting now until about Wednesday. forecasted snowfall is about 30 inches or more for my area. Beautiful to look at but the aftermath is the worst part.

I am however excited to find an empty parking lot for some AWD snow drifting

Pretty amazing that two of the biggest snowstorms in history happened just a couple of hours away, while we're having less snow so far then in any year since 1987.
