Currently 61°F here with potential thunderstorms on the way. But since The Weather Channel keeps pushing back the forecast time for the storms to arrive, we might not get anything.
Rain, rain and more rain with a temperature that feels like 3° but is actually 11°. Damn winds blowing in from the sea are making it chilly. Luckily I'll be in Florida on Sunday
Hurricane clouds floating overhead, and that's about it. Nice to get a day away from the sun for a change, but I doubt we'll get very much if any rain. NWS says 70% chance tomorrow but looking at the radar, I don't trust that forecast.
Just had a tornado warning. It hit in the middle of nursing a bumped head on my daughter. Nothing makes a lump on the head better than taking emergency precautions.
Guess the rain decided to show up here over night. Although very light at the moment, the worst of it is just hovering off to the south and not really moving anywhere.
We had a small thunderstorm yesterday/tonight, with some lightnings. I was so lucky to catch one on video even! Today, the rain finally stopped though.
British Columbia, a couple hours east of Vancouver near the Canadian Rockies.
Thankfully it turned into rain and a little bit of hail by the time it got here today. More of the same is expected tomorrow and Friday, with below freezing temperature at night.
I think this was the very last glimpse of summer for around my area. Just a camera phone pic but I was pleasantly surprised to see a butterfly on my Hosta this time of the year. Just barely snapped this pic before it flew off.
Pretty nice weather today. Around 18°C, sunny from time to time. A little bit of wind which is only a problem if you're riding with a bycicle and having a head wind. But the opposite is also true and makes it very nice to ride a bycicle.
