Hot yesterday. Hot the day before. Supposed to be hot again today.

When does the Michigan summer finally go away? I want my rain!

Our ten day forecast shows highs of between low 60's to high 50's. Eight out of those ten days are rain or shower. God, I love Oregon sunshine. Not.

We had a beautiful, warm sunny day yesterday. But today it's completely the opposite.

Lucky. God how I miss PNW weather.

We are looking at everything from 65 around now to 82 halfway through then 60 toward the end of the ten days. "Rain" (if that's what they call what we have been getting recently) is scheduled for three of those days.

Apparently it did rain last night. I woke up to water drops on the window.

It was quite hot today. About 91. I didn't think it was going to get this hot. Tomorrow is going to warm, too. But, it's going to cool down by 15 degrees by Wednesday. Perfect for a BBQ.

It's been very windy lately.

And the other day it rained like hell. We had rivers flowing down the stairs in our dorms. I guess that's why they have red on teh doppler.

Um, huh? This is perfect weather – I’m particularly looking forward to Tuesday.

Yeah, that forecast doesn't look too shabby.

Our weather has literally gone south for the winter, so I'll be mired in 45-50 and raining for the next 6 months :D.

Is it hot there yet? When does the summer end?

In Australia we have very long summers, the other pain is at least in Melbourne it doesn't get that cold during the night either. It's 8:15pm here and it's still 33C (92F), and we're still over a month from the official start of summer.

Its spring here in NZ! Was nice and sunny and warm today, up here on the Coast, but tonight is freezing, due to snow being on the mountains. Much better weather up here then down in Wellington at the moment!

I ♥ La Jolla.

You're weird:boggled:.

And I only get to see a month of it. What a shame:(.

I miss seeing rain for days at a time. Apparently we don't get rain for more than 10 minutes at a time. It's kinda ADHD.

It's pretty hot today. A steaming 77:yuck:.

Once again welcome to Michigan weather, it might be 77 today but it could easily be 40 and raining in a couple days.

This might take some getting used to. I'm used to the predictability and consistency of Seattle weather. Must be the lack of mountains trapping everything in one place.

And I think I have already learned a little about how quickly things can change around here...

Just wait till you get towards the end of November and the snows come in...you'll be wondering why you ever disliked this nice weather we are having, especially when you have to walk to class.

I assume your semester is done in December and you are going home for a few weeks right?

I realized this about a week ago. It was pretty cold here when I came to visit last February. Hopefully I have enough cold-weather clothes:nervous:.

Yep. We're done on the 14th and don't start again until I believe the 6th. I'll be home in Seattle enjoying 40 degree rain for a month:dopey:!

Well it's not uncommon to get sub zero temperatures throughout January and February, also there is typically a lot of snow. In March we get some wild weather with one day being 65 and the next 30, also bad ice storms blow through as well...just wait till you see it snowing/raining with thunder and lighting going. April can go either way but it just rains a lot during that time so you'll like it just fine...expect its a really cold rain and most people come down with a cold during that month. So ya you picked the crappiest state in the union for weather...congrats :D.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I don't think I've every really experienced such bipolar weather, although I think I had a little in Scotland.

So much for coming to Michigan because of the weather. I thought it was snow and 10 to 20 degrees all winter. I guess us Seattleites just don't have a very good concept of extreme weather.
