Looks like those blizzards that were supposed to come never did. Couple of inches of snow today, and that's it. Temperatures, however, are nearly non-existent; it's only 3F here, and the wind chill is nearly 10 below. Supposed to get worse tomorrow.

I feel sorry for you, TB.

We just got another dusting this morning. It was all salted and melted by lunch time. Hurrah. It didn't even cover the grass. So much for 2-4 inches...

Slightly warmer here than it was last week. Just about warm enough to cycle to college without gloves. Probably about 5C.

It's 13 degrees here on the lake shore and dusting a little bit of snow. I decided to go to my first set of classes in shorts, which turned out to be a bad idea.

We have some dude here who decided he wanted to be a beach bum or something so he wanders around in shorts and a t-shirt and no shoes (!) no matter the weather. That makes even me feel weaksauce and I'm the one wearing shorts until it's so cold my shins hurt.

Must be a lot of fun. The cold weather pretty much killed my brother's Nissan with a frozen radiator, and its giving my Celica some problems. Idle feels a little rough, and the power antenna doesn't always want to cooperate.

Looks like Phill and I are in for single digits tomorrow and Friday, which should make for a lot of fun when walking around campus. I think I'll be staying in AB as much as possible then.

I know, with the forecast being for a high of 5 and wind chills of nearly -20, I'm not planning on going outside either unless I absolutely have to,

I prepared a few days ago with food, checked the oil, antifreeze, and filled up on gas. I saw this cold weather coming and I do not like to go out in it at all if I dont have to. :nervous:
I sure am glad I had a remote starter installed on my gfs car for christmas. I use her car every chance I get.

I had a meeting to go to and when I went out to my car, she barely turned over. Stupid factory battery. I'm thinking about throwing down for this bad boy.

My neighbor had the same problem in his plow truck yesterday. Just barely started. I thought about letting him borrow my 1100 CCA battery that I use in my 69 Camaro. :sly:

I'm fairly certain that would flip my Civic over.

Might work good in the Pilot, though...

I take the back. We got another storm this afternoon and it did add up to about 2 inches or so. Enough to cover my grass. It's not quite over yet, but it'll only last another half hour or so.

Yeah, and my dad and I are meant to be going go karting tomorrow. Thats gonna be insanely hot racing in 42C heat.

Lol, i wasn't even going to start my motorbike, we went shopping yesterday and the car was terrible. (air con is not very good in our Magna)

Dude that sucks... -45C here this morning, I feel really sorry for you guys down under!

In case you didn't notice, I was being sarcastic...

It's not that great, you feel like your energy's drained as soon as you walk out the door...

-45C! Thats ridiculously cold. As I said earlier, anything under ten degrees is too cold for me. But trust me anything over 40C is seriously hot. So only 87C difference between us . I'd rather be here in the hot.

Yeah same here, i wouldn't mind experiencing them temperatures for a day, but i prefer 45C>-45C.

Actually, I'm a big fan of the 25-40 degree days. I really enjoy the heat, the only downside for me is trying to get to sleep at night. The last two days have been great for me (41 on Tuesday, 38 today), great swimming weather. Tomorrow's going to be a big drop, down to 28, but still nice and warm.

I don't mind the heat either, it was 43 Tuesday here, only 26 today. I had the fan on high the other night.

Yeah, getting to sleep is a problem. As I said earlier anything between 10C and 40C is fine. But tomorrow, 42C! and i'm gonna be outside all day. I'm gonna get burnt to a crisp.

It seems you eastern states always have the opposite to us, dropped down to 26 here today.

Weather is back to normal here, I'm loving it. Time to go outside and burn some stuff with the magnifying glass...

I tried to do that a while back (when it was like 20-25) and it didn't work on anything.

I know a few people that year shorts all year round, even in winter. Not that it gets that cold here in winter, never goes below 0.

Wonder how easy it would be to melt snow with a mag glass...

 That would be fun.

I went to high school with a guy that wore Tevas and shorts year round, regardless. Was pretty interesting, but he was an out of control rock climber too.

On the weather topic, January is the new March. This weather makes no sense to me now, but hey, I have the top down, so it is all good.

Eh? It's easy to burn stuff. I can just hold the magnifying glass for about 5 seconds and it'll start burning easily. Ofcourse you'll need a steady hand to focus the light properly.

Currently -24, feels like -36. Looks like between 5 and 7 am we'll be at -22 with a windchill of -40.

It officially got down to 1 today, which is probably the coldest weather I've ever been in. Still no negatives though. I'm hoping those will come around but weather.com says otherwise.

Odd. I use wake up regularaly to -10F when I was in high school. And then walked half a mile in it for my ride.

Right now it's -30F, with a -54F windchill (10 mph). If the wind picks up, it'll be brutal, as if -54 isn't.

Wow and I thought the current -1 (low -7) with current windchill and dewpoint at -13 was bad here in the cincinnati area...my feet are cold :(

Where the hell side of the world do you people live? It’s been 80°F here for the past umteen days.

UUUUUUUUUUUH N.E. Ohio. it is now 4 degrees here , wind chill is -16.

WANT TO TRADE WEATHER ? 💡

I want to see negatives. Just once. And then I will be happy with my winter experience and we can go back to being 70 degrees.

Oh, and our heated sidewalk is frozen over, so I guess that makes it officially cold at 10 degrees F.

By the way, does anybody else think it's really weird that the sky is of all colors blue when the clouds go away? I saw some blue today and all I could come up with was that it was just. Oh, and the sun is really bright. Watch out for that one.
