Yeah, it's a bit weird to use the A/C in December. I think it's a record, or off by one degree, was nice and breezy today, not the 35mph gusts we were supposed to have. I can't complain though, I love hot weather, I can't function well in the cold.

It's a bit weird not to be using the A/C in December here, even though i don't use it til it's over 30C.

24C and overcast here in Sydney, looks like it's gonna be a cold summer.

It's been a cold start to summer so far, 20C and raining today. :indiff: But it's going up to 39C (102F) next Wednesday. :) Could be in for another heatwave.

Wow it's 27 degrees and hella windy with anywhere between 2 and 5 inches of snow on the ground. Great for frisbee golf. And it was nice and warm with a sweatshirt and a fleece and pants instead of the normal shorts and sweatshirt. I do miss my gloves though...

Looking forward to more snow tomorrow! I'm pretty sad that most of the snow we were promised for today didn't happen.

It's 18 out right now and snowing decently hard, we got about a 30mph wind too which makes it feel like about -5. The roads on the way to work this morning sucked, big drifts and lot of black ice, the road I normally take was closed about half way down it because of a fallen tree or something. This meant I had to take a detour down a dirt back road that proved to be pretty difficult in something other than a 4x4.

At least I'm warm though with my new winter attack gear, that Arc'teryx Atom LT is a fairly epic coat.

So that blizzard was the biggest letdown in the history of ever. Everybody was getting ready for some apocalyptic snowfall that may have even brought the second coming of Christ and all we get is a couple inches of snow and hard winds.

So it's 14 now with a wind chill of -5. And I'm in shorts. It's going to be a long walk to class this morning. :nervous:

Yay, record low at Sea-Tac. And in further news, my scarf got more use.

How cold was this?

A couple of scorchers coming, then a 20C drop from Wednesday to Thursday, (All in degrees Celcius) although bom has a fair difference in the forecast.

Wow Brian, I heard it got really cold in Denver this week

Approaching 0 Kelvin... not bad!

Currently 8F with 20 inches on the ground, though it did finally stop snowing and the sun is actually out!

Not sure exactly what it was today, probably about 25C, beautiful for playing sports but slightly chilly in the shade. Didn't really fell like 25 but it was 20 when i got home at about 6:30.

Oh god, the last week here has been a scorcher. It is 7pm right now and according to my thermometer 30 degrees in my room still. The next week is looking cloudy with little rain and top temperatures of around 30 degrees. Add tonnes of humidity to that and you have Queensland stinking like BO.

Uh oh! Grab your coats kids!!

It felt more like 20, but it was warmer than that.

We don't get the tonnes of humidity in SA but it's going back up to 39 degrees C next week, then back to 23 or something.

Snowing again, and looks like it might be doing so for a while which means I'll have to head out to shovel later and the wind chill is -16.

Might have to hunt down my bank robbin' mask.

well, it seems that winter arrived at 8 in the morning in form of snow fall, and steep dive of temp.. how steep, you ask? well, from 22F in the morning to 5F at the moment, and tomorrow morning we should expect -2.2F..

It's something like 40 here with rain and is pretty foggy. This morning there was a good inch of ice on the driveway but it has melted. Crazy weather for sure.

Hell we don't get snow even when it does go down to 5C. It's going up to 40 here too (Celcius ) on Wednesday, well 39, about 102F.

Today it's meant to be a pleasent 30C, about 85F. :)

^ Hot Cold damn! :scared:

Currently 0°F, windchill puts us at -17.

It's 40 and foggy with a pretty heavy mist going on. I wish all our winter days were like this, it's pretty tolerable and I'm not freeze my backside off.

Agreed. If this is because of global warming, then I say keep it up. Actually I have no idea about the whole global warming thing, but this weather is nice for winter. I'll take it over snow, ice, whiteouts, black ice, and all the other crazy stuff we get.

It was pretty icy this morning on the way to work but as soon as it hit 10 or so the temperature broke past 32 and it was good.

No good. Global makes summer go from 'miserable' to 'unbearable I'm moving to Siberia.'

Woah! Liquid water outside for the first time in a week!

Sweet. Hopefully it'll keep up enough for me to experience this now rare event at home on Wednesday.
