Crappy boring SA weather. 25C and cloudy threatening showers but nothing doing.
In in the 12-22" area:Winter Storm Watch for the area, Could see anywhere from 1-10 inches of snow, .24-.59 inches of ice, with maybe .3 inches of rain. Blah.
Typical cold days with heaps of rain, apparently this weekend where I live it's supposed to be potiental floods!

Which means we'll likely get 2".![]()
We've gotten way more than that, I would say a good 2' have fallen here, combine that with the sleet we got last night into this morning it's a bit of a mess. It was also extremely windy early this morning, the sleet sounded like rocks being thrown at my window early this morning(had to have been around 30mph gusts). The fact that the school district I grew up in that never closed for snow is closed today should also say something. Also just had to help the neighbor out of the driveway.
Shall be a dead day at work tonight.
I wasn't too far off - we ended up at 4.1".We've gotten way more than that, I would say a good 2' have fallen hereWhich means we'll likely get 2".![]()
The amount of snow is always mush higher than the actual moisture content. Melted down, the 4" of snow is likely less than 1/4".VEHoldenSSThat's half our yearly rainfall.![]()
It was 54 degrees and raining in MICHIGAN yesterday. Usually we are lucky to be out of the single digits this time of the year. This has easily been the most mild winter and least amount of snow I have EVER seen in all the years of living here. Very crazy weather this year. Best winter ever!![]()
If it wasn't you'd be living in a puddle...The moral of this story is: not all Canadians live in igloos. (I wish though. That would be so cool)
^ it is quite weird. Snow to summer like weather to snow again yesturday up here.
