Half past midnight and I'm chilling in my undies with a cold cocktail in hand. Gotta love the summer. :sly:

Flood report came out yesterday - 50% chance of hitting 38.1 feet, 10% chance of 40.9, 5% chance of 41.3.

The record set in 2009 was 40.84.

Flood stage is 18 feet.

As said already, it snowed this morning. It didn't stick in Seattle, but it did stick in areas north of Seattle, and they got a couple of inches.

It's been a cold couple of mornings. Though at least this afternoon was sunny hovering in the mid-40s.

Snowed here in Seattle for about 45 minutes, big flakes but no accumulation. First time this winter/spring, I believe.

It did snow very briefly back in early December. It did not stick to the ground.

So just to tell you guys the situation here, North Wales has had some of the worst of the snow, it started on Thursday night where it was just stop and start but it hasnt stopped snowing since around lunchtime yesterday! Ive never seen it as bad as this in my lifetime the roads are fine they have been gritted but on the pavements and peoples drives its almost two feet!!

..But you know its ok, we are fine here, we have food the supermarket near us is open if we need more and we have electric, gas and water (for now!) and a good internet connection, we dont need to leave the house till monday, so we are fine for now

Sunny, clear, bright blue sky and temps around 78. Same tomorrow. Great fishing weather. Hotter on Monday, somewhere in the low 80's.

SoCal. :)

The snow didn't accumulate this much the last time it happened in March, which was 6 years ago.

This times it's slightly deeper and more consistent, but it's no more than the amount we got 2 months ago. It won't stick around quite as long as that did if it's going to warm up later next week.

You'd never last here.

Currently 20F, feels like 12, average high for today is 40. At least the slower melt will help slow down the flooding.

Well don't think we got above 0°C today, the wind is very cold. Us in Somerset haven't got any of the snow t' northerners got, but still chilly. I think the low was -4°C here and it's going to get colder over the next few days.

Weird to think this time last year it was 22°C, and many parts of England were heading for a "drought".

My phone says it's something like 45 out but it certainly feels much nicer, nice enough for t-shirts if you're not in the shade. 👍

Cold like usual. Last year at this time we were over 80 degrees. This year we hit 30 on average.

This is what is going on in my neck of the woods.

50 car pileup about 5-10 miles from home. I couldn't get groceries today because of it.

 It's not fully legal here, yet.

We got dumped with snow. Then, it iced over pretty quickly. I had to get some groceries at the local dollar general, which is only two blocks away. Ended up in a field and sideways three times. It's not my driving either. They don't plow in this area at all.

I remember once as a kid going with my dad to get groceries during a snowstorm, it was about 5 miles by gravel road to the nearest town, we finally got there about 5 hours later after getting stuck multiple times. Dang no clearance havin' Corollas.

So they said it would stop snowing here at around 8 last night...and it did and that should be it now, just a case of the snow on the ground melting!

Supposed to be cloudy during the day with snow creeping in at around 7pm and won't stop until 5am. No school. :dopey:

(Hopefully)

Finally stopped here!! iv just spent the last 2 hours digging my mums car out so she can get to work tomorrow...
