Descent-decent, what the hell is "having a winge"...the only "winge" I have is made of chicken, ability's-abilities, usualy isnt-usually isn't
...Oh, and you forgot your punctuation....

💡 I think that's enough of an example.
Not to be a grammar nazi or anyhting, but you were asking for it.

last time i checked, the 'wing' never had an 'e' on the end. So i dont know what kind of chickens that you have. And 'anyhting'?...

Dont critise me, especially when your by no means perfect. My posts are perfectly legible, unless your either dislexic or just plain stupid.

It also pains me to realise that my post that puts me to 200, is in an argument.

Must have that dictionary ready at hand, huh?
"Quick, hide me, I've made an ass of myself!"

now your quoting other people? And since when did i make an ass to myself? There will be no hiding. As for the having a 'dictionary handy', since when has a dictionary ever helped spell a word?.. If you dont know how to spell it, how are you going to find it?.. fool.

Are you serious with this statement? If you don't know how to spell a word, the dictionary is a fantastic place to look. It is organized by this new fangled idea called alphabetization. That is, if you know what letter(s) the word starts with, you should be able to find it in the dictionary.

the dictionary is ordered by how it is spelled yes, (alphabetization) so if you dont know how it is spelled, you wouldnt know were it is placed.

This argument ended some time ago, why do you feel the need to start it again?

you don't need to know how it is spelled. You need to know what letter it starts with. If you know the first two or three letters it starts with your search is quicker.

Example:
Let's say I want to know how to spell 'alphabetization'. I know it starts with the letter 'A'. I already have a place to start. But I also know, by sounding out the word, that the second letter would probably be 'L'. My search is now made more efficient and shorter. But what about the third sound, it sound like 'F'. I look up ALF.. and it is not there. What other letter combination would make an 'F' sound? I know that 'P' and 'H' together make an 'F' sound. So I look up ALPH... and bingo! I am on the right page.

Your discarding of the dictionary as a learning tool is rather upsetting. No wonder your spelling and punctuation is so horrible; You give up to quickly. This is why I felt the need to 'start it again' as you say.

But don't worry, there is hope for you. With bad grammar and spelling you can still do any number of things. Heck, you could even become the president of the united states. Oh, do you have friends that can ignore the law and rig results? No? Okay, no presidency for you, but there is always Mcdonald's

well im glad your so concerned for my well-being, but by all means, mind your own business on that regard. As famine says and it seems that evil toast man who lives up to every letter of his name; you have missed the point train ( ill never get tired of that one). This, let me call it a discussion, started with a certain member hacking away at the credibility of another. This shouldnt be happening, this message board unlike many others, is full of constant critisism and condemnation to make themselves feel more superior. New members are constantly appearing, and yes occaisionally them not obeying the rules is rather annoying, but completely shutting them down instead of telling them what to do when they ask a question is simply uncalled for. The only thing that shouldnt be tolerated ( and isnt, thanks to mods that do well at thier job) is swearing, l337ing, and immense abbreviations. The only point at which a person should be critised about thier appauling spelling, is when its eligible, which mine, although not being perfect, is far from.

Please take your argumentative behaviour, and go kick a ball around. Either that, or sit on it. Because i, and the people who are tring to view the main reason of this thread, dont want to hear it.

with kind regards that you dont deserve

I had a great deal of luck in getting this car to handle better by fiddling with the diff. Buy the fancy adjustable one and set initial torque to 10 acceleration to 40 and deceleration to 20.

Aren't those the standard settings for a fully customizeble LSD?

half assed endeavors?, your basing this on my spelling in a forum. thanks for the inquisitive assesment of my future, (which is also none of your business).

My apologies to my fellow GTPers if this thread is 'hijacked' However, I find it increasingly frustrating, and mildly depressing, how people, now more than ever, cannot even take the time to learn to use their language properly. Of course, nowadays, a large part of our exposure to others is by this medium using written word. How can so many people dismiss the necessity of learning to use the language properly? We have just read an example about someone who doesn't know how to use a dictionary. Does anyone else not find this relatively shocking?

p.s. My assessment of your future was never, at any time, 'inquisitive'.

1) to wish me success, you would have some type of interest in what i was to say,
2) i never said i didnt know how to use a dictionary, i merely stated that a dictionary does not spell words for you, your story has holes in it ( what happens when your trying to spell a word and dont know the first letter?)
3) I hope that there are no other people like you, snooping and condeming others, to back you with that statement.
4) dont patronise me

~Sp33~
and what are we meant to do about phonetical words weve never heard of before?
its common sense which is the first letter of any word, phonetical or the latter, you're just trying to find excuses to why a dictionary does not spell words for you.... 💡
